Ophelia leaned back in her chair, her white hair cascading down her back, and smirked at Hephaestus. "You're looking a little flustered there, big guy. Need a little pick-me-up?" she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Hephaestus glared at her, his dark eyes flashing. "I don't need anything from you, hybrid," he growled.
Ophelia laughed, the sound rich and full. "Oh, come on. Don't be like that. We're all friends here," she said, gesturing to the other players at the table.
Aphrodite, Hephaestus' ex-wife, rolled her eyes from across the table. "Save it, Ophelia. We all know you're just here to cause trouble," she said.
Ophelia grinned, her teeth sharp and white. "You wound me, Aphrodite. I'm just here to have a little fun," she said.
The game continued, the tension between Ophelia and Hephaestus growing with each passing moment. Finally, Hephaestus slammed his cards down on the table. "I'm out," he said, his voice tight.
Ophelia raised an eyebrow. "So soon? Afraid of losing, are we?" she said, a playful insult.
Hephaestus glared at her. "I'm not afraid of anything," he said.
Ophelia leaned forward, her eyes glinting. "Then prove it. You have a choice. You can either walk away, or you can take my hand and let me help you get your revenge," she said, her voice low and seductive.
Hephaestus looked at her, his expression unreadable. He glanced over at the gun sitting on the table to his left, the barrel pointing directly at him.
Ophelia followed his gaze and laughed. "Oh, that? Don't worry, it's just for show. I wouldn't waste a bullet on the likes of you," she said.
Hephaestus hesitated for a moment, then reached out and took Ophelia's hand. A jolt of electricity passed between them, and they both gasped.
Ophelia grinned, her eyes shining. "Excellent choice. We have a deal," she said.
The other players at the table watched in silence as Ophelia and Hephaestus shook hands, a dark smile spreading across Ophelia's face. The game was over, but the real fun was just beginning.
Ophelia leaned back in her chair, her eyes locked on Hephaestus. "Now, let's talk about the terms of our little arrangement," she said.
Hephaestus narrowed his eyes. "What kind of terms are we talking about?"
Ophelia smirked. "Well, for starters, you'll do whatever I say. And in return, I'll help you get your revenge on Aphrodite," she said.
Hephaestus' expression softened for a moment, but then he hardened his gaze. "I don't need your help. I can handle Aphrodite on my own," he said.
Ophelia laughed. "Oh, I'm sure you can. But why go through all that trouble when you can have a little fun with me instead?" she said, her voice dripping with innuendo.
Hephaestus hesitated, but then he nodded. "Fine. I'll do it. But on one condition: you have to be completely honest with me. No lies, no secrets," he said.
Ophelia's smirk faltered for a moment, but then she regained her composure. "Agreed. I'll be completely honest with you. But only if you do the same for me," she said.
Hephaestus nodded. "Deal," he said.
Ophelia grinned, her eyes shining with excitement. "Excellent. Now, let's get down to business. I have a few ideas for how we can take Aphrodite down. Are you ready to hear them?" she said.
Hephaestus nodded, his expression serious. "I'm ready," he said.
And with that, the two of them began to plot their revenge, their words sharp and witty as they exchanged ideas and bantered back and forth. It was clear that this was going to be a long, wild ride, and Ophelia was more than ready for it. She was a strong, controlling woman, and she was determined to get what she wanted, no matter what it took. And if that meant making a deal with the devil, then so be it. She was ready to take on whatever challenges came her way, and she was confident that she would come out on top.
