The sun streamed through the windows of the family's quaint kitchen, illuminating the breakfast table where Alice and her family were gathered. Alice, a striking 19-year-old college student, sat quietly, sipping her coffee and trying to ignore the elephant in the room.
"Alice, darling, we need to talk about something," her mother, Martha, began, her voice laced with concern.
Alice's father, George, and her two younger siblings, Billy and Jane, looked on curiously.
"What is it, Mom?" Alice asked, her voice dripping with annoyance.
Martha hesitated for a moment before continuing. "It's about your bedwetting issue, sweetheart. We think it's time we try a new potty training regimen."
Alice rolled her eyes at the suggestion. "I'm nineteen, Mom. I don't need potty training."
But Martha was insistent. "This regimen will help you take responsibility for your actions and encourage you to stay dry, Alice. It's important for your independence and self-care."
George nodded in agreement. "Your mother's right, Alice. This is for your own good."
Billy and Jane, intrigued by the conversation, asked what a Goodnite was. Martha explained that it was a special kind of diaper that Alice wore to bed.
Alice couldn't believe she had to wear diapers at her age. She rolled her eyes at her siblings' ignorance and muttered under her breath.
Martha continued, "As part of the new potty training regimen, Alice, you will also wear a Goodnite during the day."
Alice protested, stating that she was too old to wear diapers during the day. But her parents insisted, reminding her that it was necessary for her potty training.
George announced that the spankings would take place in front of the whole family, so that everyone could witness Alice's progress.

But deep down, Alice knew that her parents were right. She needed to take responsibility for her actions and overcome her bedwetting problem. And if that meant wearing diapers and getting spanked, then so be it.
"I can do this," Alice told herself. "I can overcome this and prove to my family that I'm responsible and independent."
And with that, Alice straightened her shoulders and stood tall, determined to succeed in her new potty training regimen.
