The rain was coming down in sheets, soaking the deserted bus stop and the young woman huddled beneath its flimsy roof. Svetlana checked her phone for the hundredth time, but the screen remained stubbornly blank. No bus, no signal, no escape from the relentless downpour.
She sighed in frustration and pulled her hood tighter over her head, but it was a losing battle. The water was starting to rise, seeping into her shoes and soaking her socks.
"Stupid bus, stupid rain, stupid everything!" she muttered under her breath, cursing her luck.
Suddenly, she heard a rustling sound coming from behind the bus stop. Her heart skipped a beat as she turned around, her eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of movement.
A figure emerged from the shadows, soaked from head to toe. He was a man, but he didn't look like a threat. In fact, he looked almost... appealing.
"Hey, need some help?" he asked, his voice deep and gravelly.
Svetlana raised an eyebrow, "I can handle myself, thank you very much."
The man chuckled, "I can see that. But still, it's not safe for a young lady to be out here alone."
Svetlana rolled her eyes, "I'm not a 'young lady', I'm a student. And I can take care of myself."
The man held up his hands in surrender, "Alright, alright. No need to get defensive."
Svetlana glared at him, "I'm not defensive, I'm cautious. There's a difference."
The man grinned, "Fair enough. Can I at least offer you my coat?"
Svetlana hesitated for a moment before taking it. The man was warm and muscular, and she couldn't help but feel a little thrill run through her.
"Thanks," she muttered, trying to hide her blush.
The man chuckled, "No problem. I'm Alex, by the way."
Svetlana looked up at him, her eyes meeting his for the first time. He was handsome, in a rugged sort of way. And there was something about him that made her heart race.
"I'm Svetlana," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alex grinned, "Nice to meet you, Svetlana. Now, how about we get out of this rain and find someplace dry?"
Svetlana hesitated for a moment before nodding. She didn't know this man, but there was something about him that made her feel safe. And she was tired of being wet and cold.
As they walked through the rain, Svetlana couldn't help but feel a growing attraction to Alex. She was usually so independent, so in control. But there was something about him that made her want to let go, to give in to her desires.
She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, taking in his strong jawline and broad shoulders. She imagined what it would be like to run her fingers through his wet hair, to feel his lips on hers.
The erotic tension between them was palpable, building with every step they took. Svetlana could feel herself getting wet, not just from the rain but from the anticipation of what was to come.
As they reached a nearby café, Svetlana couldn't help but feel a little thrill of excitement. She was wet and waiting, and she couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
