Analeigh's stomach growled as she pulled open the door of her nearly empty refrigerator. She sighed and resigned herself to ordering a large pizza for delivery. She picked up her phone and dialed the number of her favorite pizza place, her mind already imagining the delicious taste of melted cheese and savory toppings.
A knock at the door startled her, and she called out, "Just a minute!" as she quickly brushed a few crumbs off of her shirt and ran a hand through her messy hair. She opened the door to find Reed, her boyfriend, standing there with a large pizza box in his hands.
"I thought I'd save you the trouble of ordering," he said with a grin, handing her the box.
Analeigh smiled and thanked him, taking the pizza and inhaling the mouthwatering aroma. "You're a lifesaver," she said, her stomach growling again.
Reed's eyes narrowed as he looked at her. "Have you been eating enough?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
Analeigh rolled her eyes and playfully insulted him, "I'm still the same stick figure you fell in love with, Reed."
Reed chuckled and shook his head. "I love you no matter what, Analeigh. And I want you to be healthy and happy."
As they ate the pizza, Reed encouraged Analeigh to have extra slices. At first, she hesitated, but eventually gave in, enjoying the taste and feeling of fullness.
The doorbell rang again, and Analeigh's girlfriends, Tay and Jadyn, entered the apartment, bringing even more food. They teased Analeigh about her empty refrigerator and joined in on the feast.
As the night went on, the group continued to eat and drink, the atmosphere becoming more relaxed and playful. Analeigh's clothes started to feel tight as she gained weight. She laughed and made a self-deprecating joke about her "expanding waistline".
Tay and Jadyn offered to help Analeigh change into something more comfortable. As they did, a button on Analeigh's jeans popped off. The group laughed at the mishap, and Tay offered Analeigh one of her own outfits to wear. Analeigh was hesitant at first, but eventually agreed.
