The hallowed halls of Olympus were never short of excitement, but today was a day like no other. The air was filled with the scent of nectar and ambrosia, but that was not what had the gods and goddesses abuzz. No, it was the arrival of a certain six-year-old with a mischievous grin and an even more mischievous glint in her eye.
Aniya Jones had a mission, and she was not one to be deterred. She had her sights set on the divine beings themselves, and she was armed with an arsenal of Girl Scout cookies. With a determined stride, she approached the first deity she saw, a wine bearer with a golden goblet.
"Hello, I'm Aniya Jones, and I'm selling cookies for the Girl Scouts. Would you like to buy some?" she asked, her voice sweet and innocent.
The wine bearer chuckled, shaking her head. "Oh, no thank you, sweetheart. I don't think I need any cookies right now."
Aniya's smile didn't falter, but her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "I wasn't asking, I was telling you. Buy some cookies or I'll show you what I know."
The wine bearer blinked, taken aback by the sudden change in tone. "Now, now, little one, there's no need for threats." She tried to walk away, but Aniya's voice stopped her in her tracks.
"You don't want to mess with me," Aniya said, her voice low and dangerous. "I've been banned from prison, Canada, McDonald's, the grocery store, the park, and the hospital. Do you really want to be next?"
The wine bearer laughed nervously, but there was no humor in it. "Now, now, let's not be hasty." She rummaged through her pockets and pulled out her wallet, handing it to Aniya. "How many boxes of cookies do you want?"
Aniya's grin widened as she took the money. "Four boxes, please. And don't forget to leave a review."
With a skip in her step and a wicked gleam in her eye, Aniya skipped away, leaving the wine bearer in a daze. Meanwhile, in the halls of Olympus, the gods and goddesses were in an uproar.
"Did you hear what happened?" asked Athena, the goddess of wisdom.
"Yes, some child is causing chaos in our halls," responded Zeus, the king of the gods. "Who is she?"
"Aniya Jones," answered Hermes, the messenger god. "She's been banned from prison, Canada, McDonald's, the grocery store, the park, and the hospital."
The gods and goddesses exchanged worried glances. "We need to do something about her," said Hera, the queen of the gods. "Before she causes any more trouble."
But Aniya was already gone, off to find her next victim. She was unstoppable, and she knew it. And as she skipped away, she couldn't help but think: the gods and goddesses of Olympus had no idea what was coming for them.
