Aphrodite's Divine Delivery: Love, Fire, and Charm in an Unexpected Mexican Fiesta

Chapter One: A Goddess’ Dilemma

The prestigious hospital of Mount Olympus was bustling with activity, but all of that faded into the background for Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. She was on her hands and knees, her blonde hair cascading over her shoulder, and her blue eyes filled with desperation.

“Aphrodite, what seems to be the problem?” Hephaestus asked, his dark curly brown hair and tan skin a stark contrast to the goddess’ fair features.

A doctor, who had been in the middle of a heated conversation with Aphrodite, turned to Hephaestus. “She’s asking for an abortion, but it’s too late in her pregnancy.”

Aphrodite, agitated, turned to Hephaestus. “I wasn’t ready for a child, and I didn’t even know you were the father.” She playfully insulted him, calling him a “walking furnace” and “the last person she’d expect to be a dad.”

Hephaestus tried to control his anger, reminding Aphrodite that they had a one-night stand a month ago. He was hurt by her rejection but tried to hide it.

Aphrodite, unapologetic, argued that she couldn’t be tied down by a child. She said her beauty and love should be free to roam the world.

Hephaestus, in an attempt to change her mind, reminded Aphrodite of the joy and love a child could bring. He shared his dream of teaching their child the art of metalworking.

Aphrodite, stubborn, refused to budge. She insisted on having the abortion, leading to a heated argument between the two.

The doctor, feeling uncomfortable, excused himself from the room. Aphrodite and Hephaestus were left alone to continue their heated debate.

Aphrodite, in a moment of weakness, confessed to Hephaestus that she was scared of the changes a child would bring to her life.

Hephaestus, moved by her confession, took Aphrodite’s hand and reassured her that they’d face the challenges together.

Aphrodite, still unsure, agreed to think about it. Hephaestus, relieved, left the room, giving Aphrodite some space.

Aphrodite, lost in thought, came to a decision. She’d have the baby, but on her own terms.

Nine months later, on July 9th, Aphrodite gave birth to a boy and a girl, Leo and Piper, both with tan skin and dark brown hair like their father.

The doctor immediately took the babies away for examination. Two hours later, he returned with them swaddled and asleep.

The doctor handed the babies to Aphrodite. He revealed that Leo was a fire user, meaning he could make fire from his hands and was fireproof, and Piper was a charm speak user, meaning she could make people do whatever she wanted them to do. Aphrodite, taken aback, realized that her children were no ordinary beings.

As Aphrodite held her children, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of love and protectiveness towards them. She realized that she could do this, and she would do this, for her children.

Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was about to embark on a new journey as a mother. And she was ready to face whatever challenges came her way.
