The halls of Mount Olympus echoed with the sound of laughter as Aphrodite, the goddess of love, strolled alongside her twins, Leonidas and Piper. The three of them were the picture of happiness, their faces glowing with joy and mischief.
"Come on, Mother, you know you're the most beautiful goddess on Mount Olympus," Leonidas said, his blue eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Oh, stop it, you two. I'm just a simple goddess, nothing special," Aphrodite replied, her blonde hair shimmering in the light.
As they continued their walk, they were approached by Momus, the god of mockery. His face was twisted into a sneer as he looked at Leonidas and Piper.
"Aphrodite, I never took you for a one-night stand kind of goddess, but I guess even you have your moments," Momus said, his words laced with venom.
Aphrodite and Hephaestus, the twins' father and her ex-husband, overheard the comment and pulled Momus away to confront him.
"How dare you speak to Aphrodite that way," Hephaestus growled, his dark eyes flashing with anger.
Aphrodite turned to Momus, her eyes blazing with fury. "You will not speak about my children that way. I would never consider abortion, as I cherish them with all my heart."
Momus laughed, his voice echoing through the halls. "You only care about love and romance, not being a mother."
Hephaestus defended Aphrodite, saying, "You are wrong, Momus. Aphrodite is a loving and dedicated mother. She has always put her children first."
Momus continued to mock Aphrodite, calling her a "blonde bimbo" and saying that she was only interested in beauty and pleasure.
Aphrodite became angry and used her powers to make Momus's words come back to haunt him, causing him to stutter and trip over his own insults.
Momus, embarrassed, tried to apologize, but Aphrodite was not having it. She told him that he was just jealous of her happiness and success, and that he should focus on his own flaws instead of criticizing others.
Momus, defeated, slinked away, while Aphrodite and Hephaestus continued their walk with the twins, who were proud of their mother for standing up for herself.
As they walked, Aphrodite and Hephaestus exchanged a look, remembering their past together and the love they still had for each other. Aphrodite, with a playful smile, told Hephaestus that he was still a "hot piece of god," causing him to blush and laugh.
The twins rolled their eyes and teased their mother for flirting with their father, but deep down, they were happy to see their parents getting along.
The group continued their walk, laughing and joking, as Aphrodite reflected on the importance of family and the love she had for her children and ex-husband.
"Family is everything," she thought, "and I will always protect and love mine, no matter what."
