Aphrodite's Surprise Tequila Twins: When Ex-Husband Hephaestus Heats Things Up

Chapter One: A Surprise of Divine Proportions

Aphrodite stood in front of her bathroom mirror, her perfectly manicured hands holding two positive pregnancy tests in disbelief. She couldn’t believe her eyes - she was pregnant. The goddess of love and beauty was going to be a mother. She let out a sigh and ran her fingers through her long, wavy hair. This was not the plan.

Just as she was about to process the situation, Hestia, the goddess of the hearth and home, walked in on her. She raised an eyebrow at the sight of the pregnancy tests and smirked. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?"

Aphrodite tearfully explained the situation to Hestia. "I had a one-night stand with Hephaestus at a party eight weeks ago. I can't believe I'm pregnant with his children."

Hestia's playful insults began to fly. "Aphrodite, I don't want to be rude, but how drunk were you that you got knocked up by your ex-husband?" she asked, trying to hide her concern behind a facade of humor.

Aphrodite couldn't help but laugh through her tears. She knew Hestia was just trying to lighten the mood. "I was sober enough to know what I was doing, Hestia. I just didn't think it would result in this," she said, gesturing to her belly.

Hestia took Aphrodite's hand and led her to the hospital for a check-up. Along the way, they engaged in playful banter, trying to take Aphrodite's mind off of the situation.

At the hospital, Aphrodite found out she was pregnant with twins. She was shocked, but also excited. She's always wanted children, but never thought it would happen with Hephaestus.

Hestia was supportive, but also a little worried. "Aphrodite, are you sure you're ready for this? Twins are a lot of work," she said.

Aphrodite was confident. "I can handle it, Hestia. I'm the goddess of love and beauty, after all. I can handle anything," she replied, with a twinkle in her eye.

Hestia chuckled and shook her head. "Always so confident, Aphrodite. I hope you're right," she said.

As they walked back to Aphrodite's palace, Hestia couldn't help but ask one more question. "Aphrodite, why Hephaestus? Of all the gods, why him?"

Aphrodite smiled softly. "Hestia, he may not be the most handsome or charming god, but he has a heart of gold. And sometimes, that's all that matters," she said.

Hestia nodded, understanding. "I guess that's true. Love can be surprising, can't it?" she said.

Aphrodite nodded, agreeing. "Yes, it can. And this pregnancy is the biggest surprise of all," she said, patting her belly.
