The hospital room in Olympus General was fit for a goddess, equipped with the latest divine technology. Athena, the goddess of wisdom, lay on the hospital bed, her face contorted in pain as she breathed through a contraction. Chiron, the demigod doctor, stood by her side, monitoring her vitals.
"Goddess, do you wish for the father of your children to be present during their birth?" Chiron asked, his brow furrowed in concern.
Athena scoffed, "As if Hercules could handle the sight of blood and pain. No, thank you."
The door swung open, and Annabeth, Athena's curly-blonde-haired, grey-eyed daughter, entered the room. She looked at her mother with a worried expression.
"Are you alright, goddess?" Annabeth asked, her voice trembling.
Athena grinned through gritted teeth, "I'm as tough as an ancient hoplite, my dear. Don't worry."
Telemachus, Athena's brown-haired, grey-eyed son, entered the room, looking nervous. He fidgeted with the hem of his chiton, avoiding eye contact with his mother.
"Will it hurt much, mother?" Telemachus asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Athena chuckled, "Only as much as a war, my son. But I've fought many of those, so I'll be fine."
Another contraction hit Athena, and she groaned. Annabeth looked at her mother with concern, but Athena waved her off. "Go, both of you. I need to focus."
Telemachus and Annabeth exchanged worried glances but left the room, leaving Athena alone with Chiron.
Athena snapped at Chiron, "Hurry up, doctor. I have a war to plan."
Chiron chuckled, "Patience, goddess. Your children will arrive soon."
Athena rolled her eyes, "Patience is for the weak, Chiron. I don't have time for that."
Chiron prepared for the delivery, and Athena pushed with all her might. With a final cry, she delivered a healthy baby boy. Athena panted, "One down, one to go."
Chiron smiled, "You're doing great, goddess."
After a few more pushes, Athena delivered a baby girl. She looked at her children with pride, "My, they're perfect."
Chiron handed Athena her children, and she held them close, "Welcome to the world, my little warriors."
Annabeth and Telemachus entered the room, looking relieved. They gasped when they saw their new siblings.
Athena grinned, "Meet your new brother and sister, my dear children."
Telemachus looked at his new sister and whispered, "She's beautiful."
Annabeth nodded in agreement, "Just like our mother."
Athena beamed with pride, "Thank you, my dear children. I'm glad you think so."
Chiron bowed, "It was my pleasure, goddess. You've done well."
Athena looked at her children, her heart swelling with love. She knew that raising them would be a challenge, but she was ready. She was Athena, the goddess of wisdom, after all. She could handle anything.
As she looked at her new family, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she was exactly where she was meant to be.
The end.
