Hephaestus, with his dark eyes and tanned skin, strode through the forsaken corner of Olympus, his heavy boots crunching against the overgrown grass. Poseidon followed close behind, his confusion etched on his face.
"I still can't believe Zeus would do something like this," Poseidon said, his voice low and angry.
Hephaestus nodded, his jaw clenched. "He's always been jealous of her. Of her power, her beauty."
They approached Scarlet's unconscious body, and Hephaestus felt a surge of protectiveness towards his sister. He knelt down beside her, pulling out his toolkit with a determined expression.
Poseidon gently touched Scarlet's pale skin, his anger turning to sadness as he saw the bone protruding from her knee. "This is worse than I thought," he murmured.
Hephaestus began to tend to Scarlet's injury, his hands moving with practiced ease. "She'll be alright," he said, his voice steady. "I'll fix what he's broken."
Poseidon watched in awe as Hephaestus worked, impressed by his brother's skill. "You always were good with your hands," he said, a small smile playing on his lips.
Hephaestus cracked a joke about being the only one who could fix things around here, causing Poseidon to chuckle. Despite the situation, the brothers found solace in their shared humor.
Once he finished setting Scarlet's leg, Hephaestus wrapped it in bandages, his movements precise and careful. "We should take her back to the main part of Olympus," he said, standing up.
Poseidon hesitated. "But what about the curse Zeus placed on her? We don't know what will happen when she wakes up."
Hephaestus's determination didn't waver. "We'll find a way to break it. We can't just leave her here."
Poseidon agreed, and the brothers set off on their mission to save Scarlet. As they left, Hephaestus couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He would do whatever it takes to protect his sister, even if it meant going against Zeus.
Their journey wouldn't be easy, but Hephaestus was ready for the challenge. He had always been the quiet, strong one, the one who fixed things when they were broken. And he would fix this, no matter what it took.
