Awakening Desires: The Forbidden Love of Hephaestus and the Slumbering Scarlet

Chapter One: The Abandoned Goddess

Hephaestus stormed into the abandoned part of Olympus, his dark eyes flashing with anger. The tan skin of his muscular arms stood in stark contrast to the white marble of the crumbling buildings around him. He had just come from an explosive argument with Zeus, and the fury still coursed through his veins.

As he vented his frustration on a nearby boulder, his foot caught on something half-buried in the dirt. Curious, he bent down and pulled it free, revealing a small, hidden camera. He turned it over in his hands, examining it closely. It looked like it was still functioning, so he pressed the play button.

What he saw next made his heart stop.

The camera's security footage showed a figure running away from Zeus, her albinism making her stand out in the bright sunlight. She had red eyes, white hair, and pale skin, and Hephaestus recognized her immediately. It was Scarlet, the sister of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hestia, and Hera.

He watched in shock as Scarlet's foot got caught in the gate, and she tried to pull away. But Zeus was too quick for her, and he ended up breaking her leg with a swift kick. Scarlet cried out in pain, her red eyes filling with tears as she tried to crawl away. But Zeus was relentless, and he broke her other leg as well.

Hephaestus's heart pounded in his chest as he watched Scarlet's body go limp, her red eyes rolling back in her head as she passed out from the pain. And then, in a fit of rage, Zeus put a curse on Scarlet that until someone found her, she would remain asleep.

Hephaestus watched in horror as Zeus dragged Scarlet's unconscious body into the abandoned part of Olympus, leaving her to die alone and forgotten.

The footage ended, and Hephaestus was left in shock, holding the camera. He couldn't believe what he had just seen. He had always suspected that Zeus was capable of cruelty, but he had never seen it firsthand.

He rushed back to the other gods and goddesses, his mind racing with thoughts of Scarlet. He had to tell them what had happened, he had to make them see the truth.

He found them in the main hall, lounging on plush cushions and sipping nectar. They all looked up in surprise as he burst in, the camera still clutched in his hand.

"You have to see this," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "You have to see what Zeus did to Scarlet."

They all gathered around him, their expressions ranging from curiosity to annoyance. He played the footage for them, and they watched in silence as Scarlet's fate unfolded on the small screen.

When it was over, they were all shocked. Poseidon was the first to speak.

"That can't be real," he said, his blue eyes wide with disbelief. "Zeus would never do something like that."

But Hephaestus knew better. He had seen the cruelty in Zeus's eyes, and he wasn't about to let Scarlet suffer any longer.

"We have to find her," he said, his voice firm. "We have to save her."

Hera, Scarlet's sister, playfully insulted Hephaestus for being so bossy, but she couldn't hide the concern in her eyes.

"Fine," she said, rolling her eyes. "We'll go look for her. But don't expect me to carry you, Hephaestus."

They all set out to find Scarlet, Hephaestus leading the way. He was determined to save the abandoned goddess, no matter what it took. And as they searched the abandoned part of Olympus, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of admiration for Scarlet. She was strong, controlling, and direct, just like him. And he was going to make sure that she got the justice she deserved.
