Awakening Scarlet: When Hephaestus Exposes Zeus's Dirty Little Secret

Chapter One: The Box Unveiled

The Grand Hall of Olympus was buzzing with the chatter of gods and goddesses, all gathered for an emergency meeting. The air was thick with anticipation as Hephaestus, the god of fire, entered the hall. His dark eyes scanned the room, taking in the sea of familiar faces. With his tan skin and dark brown hair, he stood out amongst the crowd.

In his hands, he held a mysterious box. As he walked towards the front of the room, the chatter died down, and all eyes were on him. He set the box down on the table with a thud, and a hush fell over the room.

Zeus, the king of Olympus, stood up from his throne, his piercing blue eyes narrowing at the sight of the box. "Hephaestus, what is the meaning of this?" he demanded.

Hephaestus smirked, his dark eyes gleaming with mischief. "You know what I was saving this for later down the road, but I guess I'll say it now."

Zeus's face darkened. "Hephaestus, stop talking."

But Hephaestus ignored him, his voice booming through the hall. "I found this box in your and mom's room. I couldn't help but be curious, so I opened it."

The room was silent as Hephaestus continued. "I know all about Scarlet, how you put a curse on her, and how you lied to Demeter, Hades, Hestia, Poseidon, and even Hera."

A collective gasp filled the room as Hephaestus revealed the contents of the box. "You said she was dead, when in reality, you just dumped her somewhere where nobody could find her."

Poseidon, unable to contain his anger, cut in. "Zeus, you did what to Scarlet?"

Hephaestus smirked. "Yes, Poseidon, our dear sister Scarlet, the one who was supposed to be the ruler of Olympus, not Zeus."

Hera, with a stern look, demanded an explanation from Zeus. "Is this true, Zeus? What have you done?"

Zeus looked defeated. "Yes, it's true. I couldn't bear the thought of Scarlet ruling over me, so I put a curse on her and left her to die."

Hephaestus was not satisfied with Zeus's answer. "You may be the king of Olympus, but you are not a true leader."

Hephaestus's words sparked a heated debate among the gods and goddesses. Some were outraged by Zeus's actions, while others were hesitant to question the king.

But Hephaestus took control of the situation. "We need to find Scarlet and break the curse," he declared.

The gods and goddesses were impressed by Hephaestus's plan and agreed to help him.

Hephaestus left the hall with a confident stride, leaving Zeus alone to contemplate his actions and realize the consequences of his mistakes.

The gods and goddesses of Olympus had a long road ahead of them, but with Hephaestus leading the way, they were determined to right the wrongs of the past and restore Scarlet to her rightful place.
