Bedmate Behaving Badly: A Comically Carnal Conundrum

Chapter One: Bedbound

Mia sauntered into the bedroom, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Hey, Clyde, I was thinking we could watch a movie together tonight. What do you say?"

Clyde, who was lounging on the bed, barely looked up from his phone. "Nah, I don't feel like it. Come here, beautiful." He patted the empty space beside him, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

Mia hesitated, her mind racing. She had planned to spend the evening curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and a rom-com, not tangled up in the sheets with Clyde. But his piercing gaze was hard to resist.

"Come on, Mia. Don't be like that." Clyde's voice was low and sultry, his eyes never leaving hers.

Mia sighed, her resolve crumbling. She crossed the room and climbed onto the bed, her heart pounding in her chest.

As they made love, Mia's mind wandered. She thought about the movie she had wanted to watch, the friends she had cancelled plans with, and the career opportunities she had missed because of Clyde's insatiable appetite for sex.

Clyde finished with a satisfied grunt, rolling over and falling asleep almost instantly. Mia lay beside him, her body humming with frustration. She considered waking him up, bringing up her concerns, but she knew it would only lead to an argument.

She thought about leaving him, starting fresh, but the thought of a life without Clyde was unbearable. She sighed, her breath hot and heavy against the cool night air.

Quietly, she slipped out of bed and began to get dressed. Clyde stirred, his eyes fluttering open.

"Where are you going?" he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.

Mia turned to him, a playful smile on her lips. "Can't you go five minutes without trying to get in my pants?"

Clyde laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Sorry, beautiful. I can't help it."

Mia rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help the twinge of resentment that crept into her heart. She suggested they have a picnic instead, and Clyde reluctantly agreed.

As they ate, Mia tried to push her frustrations aside and enjoy the moment. But she couldn't shake the feeling that she was constantly being pulled away from the things she wanted to do and the people she wanted to see because of Clyde's addiction.

She knew she needed to find a way to stand up for herself and set boundaries, but she wasn't sure how to do it without causing a fight. For now, she would enjoy the picnic and hope for a better tomorrow.
