John was making his way to the library, his mind preoccupied with the mountain of work that lay ahead of him. He barely noticed the people around him, lost in thought as he was. That was, until he saw her.
Standing by a wall, her attention focused on her phone, was a vision of beauty. Her long, wavy hair cascaded down her back in golden locks, and her curves were accentuated by the form-fitting dress she wore. John couldn't help but stare, his thoughts momentarily forgotten.
As if sensing his gaze, the woman looked up and caught him staring. She playfully stuck her tongue out at him, a mischievous glint in her eye. John blushed, looking away quickly and pretending to be interested in something else. But as he glanced back, he noticed something strange.
Where the woman had been standing, there was an indentation in the wall. It was as if she had been pressed up against it, leaving her mark behind. John's mind was blown. He looked back at the woman, who was now walking towards him with a grin on her face.
"Hey there," she said, her voice sultry and confident. "Ever seen anything like that before?"
John stammered out a response, trying to play it cool. "Uh, no. I can't say I have."
The woman laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I was just messing with you. I have a little bit of magic up my sleeve, that's all."
She introduced herself as Aerith, and John was immediately drawn to her intelligence and wit. They talked about their studies, with Aerith teasing him for being a "nerd" because of his love of books. John took it in stride, flirting back with Aerith as they bantered back and forth.
As the conversation came to a close, Aerith leaned in close to John, whispering in his ear. "I have to go now, but if you're brave enough, meet me here tomorrow at the same time."
With that, she walked away, leaving John wanting more. He couldn't believe his luck. This chance encounter had left him feeling more alive than he had in a long time. And as he watched Aerith disappear into the crowd, he knew that he would be back tomorrow, ready for whatever came next.
