The grand halls of Olympus were alive with the chatter of gods and goddesses as six-year-old Bernice led a stunning woman through the halls. Bernice's curly brown hair bounced with each excited step she took, her small frame bursting with energy.
"Zeus, guess who I brought with me today?" Bernice challenged, spotting the king of the gods and approaching him with a confident stride.
Zeus looked down to see a woman who appeared to be in her early thirties, her youthful appearance belying her true age of 34. "Who is that?" he asked, intrigued.
Bernice grinned, placing a hand on her hip. "That's my mom. She's 34, but everyone thinks she's my older sister."
The woman rolled her eyes, playfully insulting Bernice. "Thanks, Bernice. I'm glad you think I look so old."
Zeus couldn't help but laugh at the exchange. "And what brings you two to Olympus, Bernice?"
Bernice's eyes sparkled with mischief. "I wanted to show Mom around. She's never been here before."
The woman spoke up, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Yes, because I've always had so much free time to visit the home of the gods."
Bernice stuck her tongue out at her mother, then turned back to Zeus. "Can Mom and I explore a little? She's been dying to meet you."
Zeus, amused by the young girl's forwardness, agreed. "Of course, Bernice. Lead the way."
Bernice grinned, taking her mother's hand and leading her deeper into the halls of Olympus. As they walked, the woman whispered to Bernice, "You're such a show-off, Bernice."
Bernice giggled, sticking her tongue out at her mother again. "You love it, Mom."
The two continued their tour, the woman marveling at the grandeur of Olympus while Bernice chatted animatedly with the gods and goddesses they encountered. As the day wore on, Bernice and her mother grew closer, their bond strengthened by their shared experiences in the magical world of Olympus.
As they passed by a secluded alcove, Bernice's eyes widened with excitement. "Mom, look! That's Aphrodite's private garden. She only lets her closest friends in there."
The woman raised an eyebrow. "And you're friends with Aphrodite?"
Bernice nodded eagerly. "Uh-huh. She's my favorite goddess. She taught me how to make flowers bloom with just a thought."
The woman smiled, impressed. "Well, then we have to pay her a visit."
Bernice's face lit up with excitement as she led her mother into the private garden. Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was lounging on a chaise, a glass of nectar in her hand. She looked up as Bernice and her mother entered, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Bernice, what a pleasant surprise," Aphrodite said, her voice dripping with honey. "And who is this beautiful woman you've brought with you?"
Bernice grinned, placing a hand on her hip. "This is my mom. She's never been to Olympus before, and I wanted to show her around."
Aphrodite stood up, her body moving with a fluid grace that was captivating. "Well, then, welcome to my garden. I hope you enjoy your stay."
The woman smiled, taking Aphrodite's outstretched hand. "Thank you, Aphrodite. I'm sure we will."
As the three of them chatted, Bernice couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Her mother was strong and confident, just like her, and she was happy to
