Bondage of the Gods: When Hestia Uncovers Zeus's Sinister Secrets and Takes Control of Olympus

Chapter One: The Abandoned Goddess

Hephaestus stormed into the forsaken corner of Olympus, his dark eyes flashing with anger, his tanned skin glistening with sweat from his latest altercation with Zeus. His dark brown hair was disheveled, adding to his disheveled appearance. He was seething, his mind still reeling from the cruel words that Zeus had thrown at him.

As he stomped through the desolate halls, he stumbled upon a hidden door, a sense of unease creeping up his spine. He paused, his heart pounding in his chest as he contemplated whether or not to open it. With a deep breath, he pushed the door open, revealing a small chamber.

And there, lying unconscious with a broken leg, bone protruding from her knee, was his albino sister, Scarlet.

Hephaestus gasped, his hand flying to his mouth as he took in the sight of her frail body. He quickly moved towards her, gently lifting her into his arms, his heart aching at the sight of her pain.

"What have you done, you cruel bastard?" Hephaestus muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing as he glared at the security footage playing on a nearby video camera. He watched as Scarlet ran away from Zeus, her foot getting caught in the gate, and Zeus breaking her leg in a fit of rage. His anger boiled over as he saw Zeus put a curse on Scarlet, leaving her to sleep until someone found her.

"You're a monster, Zeus," Hephaestus said, his voice filled with disgust. He carefully carried Scarlet out of the abandoned part of Olympus, determined to break the curse and bring her back to safety.

As he walked, he whispered soothing words to Scarlet, trying to calm her even in her unconscious state. "You're safe now, Scarlet. I won't let anyone hurt you again," he promised, his voice filled with determination.

He reached the main part of Olympus, where the other gods and goddesses were gathered, still shocked by the revelation of Scarlet's fate. Hephaestus demanded that they help him break the curse and bring Scarlet back to her rightful place as the ruler of Olympus.

"You all stood by and let this happen. Shame on you," Hephaestus said, his voice filled with righteous anger. But even in the midst of the serious situation, Hephaestus' humor and playful insults added a lightness to the situation.

"Come on, you lot. Scarlet's the only one with any sense around here. We can't let her sleep forever," he said, shooting a pointed look at the other gods and goddesses. "She's the only one who can keep you all in line."

They all chuckled, but the mood was still serious as they worked together to break the curse and bring Scarlet back to consciousness. Hephaestus' determination to protect his sister and Scarlet's strength as a goddess shone through, setting the tone for the rest of the novel.
