Brady, a young man in his late twenties, lazed on his worn-out couch, scrolling through his phone. His stomach growled, and he tried to ignore it, focusing on the latest viral cat video. But the sensation grew stronger, and he realized he couldn’t put it off any longer. He needed to find a bathroom, pronto.
He jumped up from the couch, his phone slipping from his hands and clattering to the floor. He dashed towards the bathroom, but as he reached the door, he came to a horrifying realization. The bathroom door was locked. Thor, his roommate, a notorious long-haired metalhead, was in there, blasting death metal and taking his sweet time.
Brady knocked frantically on the door, his face contorting in panic. “Thor! Thor, I really need to use the bathroom! Let me in!”
Thor’s muffled voice came from within. “Hold on, dude! I’m almost done! Just a few more minutes!”
Brady couldn’t wait. He looked around the apartment in desperation, his eyes settling on the kitchen. He dashed towards it, hoping against hope that he could make it in time.
He reached the kitchen sink, but it was too late. He couldn’t hold it in anymore. With a groan of relief, he dropped his pants and let nature take its course.
But just as he started, he heard a chuckle from behind him. He turned around, his face flushing in embarrassment. It was his neighbor, a strong and controlling woman named Lana, who lived in the apartment next door.
Lana leaned against the kitchen doorway, her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. “Well, well, well. Looks like someone’s having a rough day,” she said, her voice dripping with playful insults.
Brady stuttered, trying to explain himself. “I-I’m sorry, Lana! I really had to go! The bathroom was locked!”
Lana raised an eyebrow. “And you couldn’t wait? You couldn’t hold it in for a few more minutes?”
Brady shook his head, his face still red. “I couldn’t! I’m sorry!”
Lana chuckled again, her smirk growing wider. “Well, I guess I can’t blame you. It’s a natural urge, after all. But maybe next time, you’ll think twice before using my kitchen as your personal bathroom.”
Brady nodded, feeling both embarrassed and grateful. Lana might be controlling and direct, but she’s also kind-hearted and understanding. And for that, he’s thankful.
Lana’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “You know, Brady, you could always come over to my place if you ever need to use the bathroom. I mean, as long as you clean up after yourself.”
Brady’s face turned even redder, if that was possible. “I-I’ll keep that in mind, Lana. Thank you.”
Lana winked at him before turning around and leaving. Brady sighed in relief and finished up his business. He cleaned up after himself and left the kitchen, feeling both grateful and a little flustered.
He couldn’t believe what just happened. He just pooped in front of his neighbor. But instead of being angry or disgusted, Lana was amused and understanding. And she even offered him the use of her bathroom.
Brady couldn’t help but smile. Maybe having a crisis of nature’s call wasn’t so bad after all. At least he got to know his neighbor a little better. And who knows, maybe this was the start of a beautiful friendship.
