Burning Yearn: An Omega's Desire

Burning Yearn: An Omega's Desire

Chapter 1: Ignited Sparks

Izuku Midoriya adjusted his hero gear, the tight fabric clinging to his muscular frame as he patrolled the bustling streets of Musutafu. At four months pregnant, his body was a paradox of strength and vulnerability, a fact he hid beneath layers of determination and a well-fitted costume. His mind, however, was a battlefield—torn between duty and the relentless pull of his inner Omega, clawing at the edges of his restraint. And the source of that torment? Katsuki Bakugo, the explosive blond Alpha who’d been his shadow since childhood, now striding beside him with a scowl that could ignite a wildfire.

“Oi, Deku, you’ve been zoning out all damn day. What’s your deal?” Katsuki’s voice was a rough growl, cutting through Izuku’s spiraling thoughts. His crimson eyes narrowed, scanning Izuku with an intensity that made the Omega’s skin prickle.

Izuku forced a laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “Just... tired, Kacchan. You know, hero work and all.”

“Tch. Don’t lie to me, nerd. You’ve got that stupid look on your face again—like you’re about to cry or punch something. Which is it?” Katsuki stepped closer, his broad shoulders casting a shadow over Izuku. The scent of burnt caramel and raw power wafted off him, hitting Izuku like a punch to the gut. Damn it, why did he have to smell so good?

“I’m fine, really,” Izuku insisted, though his voice wavered. His inner Omega whined, a desperate chant of *mine, mine, mine* echoing in his skull. He’d spent years burying his feelings for Katsuki, convinced the Alpha saw him as nothing more than a childhood burden. But now, with his body betraying him at every turn—hormones raging, heart pounding—ignoring it was like trying to douse a forest fire with a teaspoon.

Katsuki’s gaze darkened, his jaw tightening. “Bullshit. You’re not fine. You’ve been off since that bastard left you high and dry. What, you still pining over that loser?”

Izuku’s emerald eyes flashed with defiance. “Don’t talk about him like you know anything, Kacchan. I’m over it. I don’t need anyone to save me, least of all you.” His words were sharp, but they lacked conviction. The truth was, he wasn’t over anything—not the heartbreak, and certainly not the way Katsuki’s mere presence made his blood simmer.

“Oh, is that so?” Katsuki smirked, stepping even closer until Izuku’s back hit the brick wall of the alley they’d wandered into. “Then why do you look like you’re about to combust, huh? Face all flushed, eyes darting everywhere but at me. What’s got you so worked up, Deku?”

Izuku’s breath hitched, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. Katsuki was too close, his heat radiating through the thin space between them. The Alpha’s voice dropped to a dangerous purr, and Izuku felt a shiver race down his spine. “I’m not... I’m not worked up,” he lied, but the tremble in his tone betrayed him.

“Liar,” Katsuki hissed, slamming a hand against the wall beside Izuku’s head, caging him in. “I can smell it on you, y’know. That sweet, desperate scent. You’re driving me fuckin’ crazy, and I wanna know why.”

Izuku’s heart thundered, his inner Omega howling as his resolve crumbled. He could feel the heat pooling low in his belly, a needy ache that begged for release. “Kacchan, stop,” he whispered, but it sounded more like a plea than a command. “You don’t know what you’re doing to me.”

“Oh, I think I do,” Katsuki murmured, his lips curling into a wicked grin as he leaned in, his breath hot against Izuku’s ear. “Question is, are you gonna keep fighting it, or are you gonna let me take care of that fire burnin’ inside you?”

Izuku’s knees nearly buckled, his body screaming for Katsuki’s touch, for the Alpha to claim what his Omega had always known was his. But he wasn’t some damsel to be swept away—he was a Pro-Hero, damn it, and he’d be the one to decide how this played out. With a surge of defiance, he grabbed Katsuki’s collar, pulling him closer until their lips were a mere whisper apart. “If you’re gonna talk big, Kacchan, you better be ready to back it up.”

Katsuki’s eyes gleamed with feral hunger, and in that charged moment, the world narrowed to the electric tension between them. Whatever happened next, Izuku knew one thing for certain: there was no turning back.
