The scientists explained that she would be administered penicillin as a precaution before receiving the Super-Soldier Serum. Peggy rolled up her sleeve and joked, "I hope this doesn't make me allergic to cats."
After receiving the penicillin, Peggy was taken inside a machine that would feed the tubes of serum into her body. She looked at the machine nervously and asked, "Is this going to hurt?"
