The lush garden of Mount Olympus was alive with the vibrant colors of flowers and the rich greens of leaves, providing a sanctuary for four of the most powerful women in the world. Brigitte, Hera, Amphimtrite, and Pershephone had settled into the garden, their laughter filling the air as they exchanged pleasantries.
"Ah, Brigitte, my dear, it's so good to see you," Hera said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about our little gathering."
Brigitte playfully stuck her tongue out at Hera. "Oh, come on, Hera, you know I wouldn't miss it for the world. Besides, I had to make sure Apollo was behaving himself."
Hera rolled her eyes. "Of course, because the 'King of Music' is such a troublemaker."
Brigitte grinned. "You know I can't resist a little bit of mischief."
Hera couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, well, that's why I call you the 'Queen of nagging.' You're always stirring up something."
Brigitte feigned innocence. "Moi? Never."
Hera shook her head, a smile playing on her lips. "So, tell us, how was your labor with Solace? I heard Apollo played his lyre the whole time."
Brigitte nodded. "Yes, it was incredible. I had a natural, unmedicated birth, just like the rest of you. And Apollo's music was so soothing. It helped me focus and stay calm."
Hera raised an eyebrow. "I'm surprised Zeus didn't pace the entire time, wearing a hole in the floor."
Brigitte chuckled. "He did, actually. But he was also incredibly supportive. He never left my side."
Amphimtrite chimed in. "Poseidon was equally shocked and impressed when my waters broke while we were swimming in the ocean. He tried to help, but ended up accidentally flooding the birthing room."
The goddesses erupted in laughter.
Pershephone added, "Hades was surprisingly tender, holding my hand throughout the labor. The Underworld was eerily quiet during the birth."
Hera shared her own experience. "Zeus panicked when my waters broke suddenly, and summoned Hephaestus to build a hospital on Olympus."
Brigitte's eyes widened. "What was it like holding your babies for the first time?"
Hera described how Jason's blue eyes instantly calmed her. Amphimtrite tearfully recalled how Perseus' black hair reminded her of Poseidon, and how she felt an overwhelming sense of love. Pershephone shared that Nico and Bianca's pale skin and black hair were a stark contrast, but holding them filled her with a deep sense of joy.
Brigitte's voice cracked as she talked about Solace's curly blonde hair and blue eyes, and how she felt like her heart would burst with love.
The goddesses shared a heartfelt moment, raising a glass to their strength and their beautiful babies.
As the sun set, they continued to share stories, their laughter and love echoing through the garden. And despite their playful banter and teasing, it was clear that these four women were more than just goddesses - they were friends, sisters, and mothers, bound together by their shared experiences and unbreakable bond.
