The garden of Brigitte, the goddess of candy and all things sweet, was a sight to behold. A sprawling expanse of colorful flowers, sparkling candy sculptures, and a sweet aroma that hung heavy in the air, it was the perfect setting for a gathering of the most powerful and alluring goddesses in the pantheon.
As the goddesses arrived, each with their own unique personality, they were greeted by Brigitte with a playful jest about Hera's chariot being late (again).
"Really, Hera, you'd think you'd have figured out how to make that thing run on time by now," Brigitte said with a wink, as Hera rolled her eyes but couldn't help but chuckle.
The goddesses settled down, indulging in Brigitte's famous candy punch and sharing stories of their recent exploits. Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea, shared her story of how Poseidon was so shocked when her waters broke, he caused a small tsunami in their palace.
The goddesses laughed and reminisced about their unmedicated labors, exchanging playful insults about who screamed the loudest. Persphone, the goddess of spring, revealed how Hades was surprisingly gentle when he first held Nico and Bianca, causing the goddesses to swoon and tease him for his soft side.
Brigitte shared her own experience, telling them how Apollo cried when he held Solace for the first time. This made Hera tear up, thinking of Jason.
"Despite the challenges, holding our babies for the first time was the most magical moment of our lives," Hera said, and the goddesses all agreed.
Hera brought up how their husbands have been helping with the babies, and the goddesses were shocked, exchanging disbelieving glances.
Amphitrite shared how Poseidon has been trying to soothe Perseus by creating miniature tidal waves in the baby's bath. Persphone couldn't stop laughing as she told them how Hades has been reading bedtime stories to Nico and Bianca, using his deep, haunting voice.
Brigitte confessed that Apollo has been attempting to make Solace laugh by playing his lyre, but mostly just ends up with a headache. The goddesses burst into laughter, teasing their husbands, but also grateful for their support.
They spent the rest of the afternoon sharing stories, enjoying each other's company, and reveling in their new roles as mothers. As they left, they promised to meet again soon, knowing they now had a sisterhood that would last for eternity.
Brigitte waved them goodbye, already planning the next gathering, filled with even more laughter, love, and candy.
