Candy, Thunder, Waves, and Shadows: A Goddesses' Guide to Unmedicated Bliss and Marital Woes

Chapter One: Goddesses' Gathering

The atmosphere in Brigitte's candy garden was thick with the sweet scent of sugar and spice, as the four goddesses settled into the plush, candy-cane seats, each with a steaming cup of ambrosia in hand. The vibrant colors of the garden seemed to dance and shimmer in the sunlight, creating a playful and whimsical ambiance.

Brigitte, the radiant goddess of love and fertility, turned to Hera with a twinkle in her eye. "Hera, my dear, I've been dying to know. When your waters broke, what was Zeus's reaction?"

Hera, the queen of the gods and goddess of marriage, rolled her eyes with a dramatic sigh. "Oh, Brigitte, you know Zeus. He was a bundle of panic and confusion. I don't think he knew whether to catch the baby himself or call for Hephaestus to build a crib on the spot!"

Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea, chuckled at the image. "I can relate. When I went into labor, Poseidon was equally flustered, but he tried to hide it with his usual stoicism. He kept muttering something about needing to 'calm the tides' and 'part the waters'!"

Pershephone, the goddess of the underworld and the harvest, revealed that Hades had remained calm and composed during her labor, surprising them all. "He was a rock, as always. He simply held my hand, looked into my eyes, and whispered words of encouragement. It was... comforting."

Brigitte shared her story of an unmedicated birth, expressing her pride in enduring the pain without any aid. "I wanted to feel every moment, every sensation. It was intense, but empowering. I was a warrior, conquering the greatest challenge of all - bringing new life into the world."

Hera, with a competitive smirk, shared that she too had an unmedicated birth. "I am the true goddess of strength, after all. I couldn't let a mere human outdo me!"

Amphitrite, not to be outdone, proudly declared that she had the shortest labor. "Just three hours! That makes me the most efficient goddess, don't you think?"

Pershephone playfully insulted the others, stating that she had twins, and that made her the ultimate goddess of labor. "Two for the price of one! I think that earns me the title of 'Goddess of Endurance'!"

Brigitte, with a mischievous grin, asked the group how their husbands had reacted when they first held their babies. "I remember the moment I held Solace for the first time. An overwhelming sense of joy washed over me. It was as if the universe had aligned, and all was right in the world."

Hera shared that Jason had immediately latched on, surprising Zeus with his natural instinct. "It was a beautiful moment. Zeus was so proud, he nearly burst!"

Amphitrite revealed that Perseus was born with a full head of black hair, much like his father's. "Poseidon couldn't believe it. He kept saying, 'He's a chip off the old block!'"

Pershephone shared that Nico and Bianca were born with pale skin and black hair, a stark contrast to Hades' dark features. "Hades was enchanted. He couldn't take his eyes off of them. It was a sight to behold."

Brigitte, with a sigh of contentment, shared her experience of holding Solace for the first time. "In that moment, I felt invincible. A goddess, indeed. And to think, we get to experience this miracle over and over again. What a blessing!"

The goddesses shared a moment of silence, reflecting on the miracle of life and the strength they possess as women.

Brigitte, with a playful wink, suggested they make this gathering a regular event. "After all, who better to share in the joys and trials of motherhood than the goddesses themselves?"

The other goddesses laughed in agreement, raising their cups of ambrosia in a toast to friendship, love, and the power of women.
