Candy, Wine, and Sea Spray: A Goddess Get-Together on Postpartum Life and Adorable Offspring

Chapter One: Goddesses Gather

The sun hung lazily in the sky, casting a warm golden glow over Brigitte's luxurious garden. Vibrant flowers danced in the gentle breeze, their sweet scent mingling with the mouthwatering aroma of candies scattered throughout the garden. It was the perfect setting for four of the most powerful goddesses to gather and share in the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Brigitte, Hera, Amphitrite, and Persephone arrived, each carrying their babies in their arms. They exchanged playful insults about each other's husbands as they settled into the plush cushions surrounding a low table laden with treats.

"I don't know how you put up with that philandering husband of yours, Hera," Brigitte said, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Apollo may be a loving father, but he's no saint when it comes to fidelity."

Hera rolled her eyes, a knowing smirk on her face. "Oh, please. At least Apollo has the decency to be discreet about his affairs. Zeus couldn't care less who sees him chasing after his latest conquest."

Amphitrite laughed, her voice as soothing as the waves she ruled. "Well, at least our husbands are consistent. Poseidon's idea of quality time is dragging Perseus on some wild sea adventure."

Persephone nodded in agreement, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders as she adjusted her twins, Bianca and Nico, in her arms. "And Hades? He's a bit distant, but he's been trying to bond with the twins. It's just... different, you know?"

The goddesses shared a moment of understanding, their laughter subsiding as they delved into the complexities of their relationships. Brigitte gently stroked Solace's blonde curls, which reminded her so much of Apollo's golden hair.

"Speaking of husbands," Hera began, her eyes twinkling with mischief, "Jason's blonde hair comes from me, not that cheating husband of mine."

Amphitrite couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm sure Poseidon would love to hear that. He's always been so proud of Perseus' dark locks."

Persephone looked down at her twins, their pale skin and black hair a unique combination of herself and Hades. "Bianca and Nico have a strange fascination with the underworld's fruits. I swear, they'd live on pomegranates if I let them."

The goddesses laughed, sharing stories of their babies' eating habits. Brigitte shared how Solace had a sweet tooth like his father, while Hera complained about how Jason only wanted to eat ambrosia. Amphitrite's son Perseus preferred seafood, much to her amusement.

As the laughter subsided, the goddesses commiserated about how their husbands treated them postpartum. Hera expressed her frustration about Zeus' lack of understanding, and Brigitte reassured her that it was normal for their husbands to be clueless about the challenges of motherhood.

Amphitrite shared that Poseidon had been helpful but could be too eager to "fix" things, while Persephone revealed that Hades had been surprisingly supportive and attentive, much to the other goddesses' surprise.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the goddesses continued to share their stories, their laughter echoing through the garden. Despite the challenges they faced, they found solace in each other's company, knowing they were not alone in their journey.

The night stretched on, filled with sharp and witty dialogue, and the goddesses basked in the warmth of friendship and understanding. They were strong, controlling, and direct, and together, they faced the trials of motherhood with unwavering determination.
