Catching Up: A Suggestive Interview at Sundesco Marketing

Chapter One: The Interview

Christina nervously twisted her keys in her hands as she approached the Sundesco Marketing office. She had never been this nervous for an interview before, but something about this job just felt different. She took a deep breath and pushed open the door, plastering a confident smile on her face as she greeted the receptionist.

Bonnie, the receptionist, grinned back at her, her eyes twinkling in a way that made Christina feel both intrigued and uncomfortable. "You must be Christina," she said, standing up to shake Christina's hand. "I'm Bonnie. Welcome to Sundesco Marketing."

Christina shook Bonnie's hand, trying to appear confident and capable. "Nice to meet you, Bonnie. I'm here for an interview with Lauren."

Bonnie nodded and gestured towards a door. "Room 3-B. You can't miss it. And don't worry, you're a shoo-in for the job. Lauren will love you."

Christina raised an eyebrow, but Bonnie just winked and went back to her desk. Christina took a deep breath and opened the door to Room 3-B, her heart racing as she looked around. The room was small and cozy, with a large desk and a few chairs. A pre-employment application sat on one of the chairs, and Christina picked it up, taking a seat as she began to fill it out.

As she wrote, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She looked up and saw a small camera in the corner of the room, pointed directly at her. She felt a shiver run down her spine, but she shrugged it off and continued filling out the application.

Meanwhile, in her office down the hall, Bonnie was grinning as she watched Christina on the live video stream. "Look at her, Lauren," she said into her headset. "She's perfect. Innocent, but with a spark in her eyes. She's got potential."

Lauren, who was on a conference call, listened as Bonnie spoke. "Send the video stream to my office," she said, ending the call. She watched as Christina filled out the application, her eyes narrowing as she took in the young woman's looks and demeanor.

A few minutes later, Lauren walked into Room 3-B, introducing herself and shaking Christina's hand. "Nice to meet you, Christina," she said, sitting down across from her. "I'm Lauren, the CEO of Sundesco Marketing. I'm here to conduct your interview."

Christina was nervous, but she tried to answer Lauren's questions honestly and directly. She talked about her degree in communication and her experience at the temp agency. She mentioned her strengths and weaknesses, and her goals and aspirations.

Lauren listened carefully, taking notes as Christina spoke. She was impressed by the young woman's honesty and directness, and she could see the potential in her.

"Tell me, Christina," Lauren said, leaning forward. "Are you willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills?"

Christina nodded, her eyes shining with determination. "Yes, I am. I'm a quick learner, and I'm not afraid of hard work."

Lauren smiled, pleased with Christina's answer. "Good. Because the 'special position' I'm offering involves a lot of new challenges and learning opportunities. Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment?"

Christina nodded again. "Yes, I am. I thrive under pressure and I'm good at multitasking."

Lauren was impressed. "Excellent. And are you comfortable working with a diverse group of people?"

Christina nodded once more. "Yes, I am. I value diversity and I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and experiences."

Lauren leaned back in her chair, studying Christina. "And are you comfortable working closely with me?"

Christina was taken aback by the question. "What do you mean, exactly?" she asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.

Lauren smiled, her eyes twinkling. "The 'special position' I'm offering involves working closely with me on various projects and tasks. It will require a lot of trust, cooperation, and communication. Are you comfortable with that?"

Christina was unsure of what to say. She was intrigued by the opportunity, but she was also a little nervous. "Can you tell me more about the job and the compensation?" she asked, trying to buy some time.

Lauren nodded and explained the job details and the compensation. Christina listened carefully, her eyes widening as she heard about the travel, the perks, and the benefits. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"So, what do you think?" Lauren asked, smiling at Christina.

Christina took a deep breath, trying to process everything. "I'm interested," she said finally. "But I need some time to think about it. Can I have a day or two to decide?"

Lauren nodded, understanding. "Of course. Take all the time you need. But I have a feeling you won't find a better opportunity than this."

Christina stood up, shaking Lauren's hand. "Thank you for the opportunity. I'll be in touch soon."

Lauren watched as Christina left the room, a smile on her face. She had a feeling that Christina was the one for the job. And she couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
