Caught Between Gods: A Divine Game of Truth or Dare

Brigitte leaned back on the plush couch, her long legs crossed, as she turned to Solace with a playful smirk. "I thought you were going to help me with some paperwork today, Solace. Where have you been?"

Solace fidgeted, his eyes darting from Brigitte to Apollo and back again. "I, uh... I was with Nico."

Apollo raised an eyebrow, his arms crossed over his broad chest. "Nico, huh? And what exactly were you two doing?"

Solace hesitated, his nerves getting the better of him. "Are you... are you going to get mad if I tell you the truth?"

Brigitte and Apollo shared a look, then Brigitte spoke up. "We promise not to get mad, Solace. Just tell us what you were up to."

Solace took a deep breath and blurted out, "We were exploring an abandoned part of the underworld."

Brigitte's eyebrow shot up in amusement. "An abandoned part of the underworld, you say? That sounds... interesting. Did you find any fun down there?"

Solace rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smile. "We found an underground river and spent the day swimming. It was amazing."

Apollo looked slightly disappointed. "I would have loved to join you if I had known."

Brigitte chimed in, still amused. "Solace, did you get lost down there? The underworld can be tricky to navigate."

Solace shook his head. "No, Nico was a great guide. He was the one who got us out of a tight spot."

Apollo looked impressed. "Really? Tell us more about your adventure, Solace."

Solace's confidence grew as he described the beautiful sights they saw and the thrill of exploring the unknown. But Brigitte's glinting eye and flirtatious tone made him blush.

"Did you and Nico have any... close calls... during your adventure?" she asked, her voice low and sultry.

Solace's blush deepened as he admitted, "We had to hold onto each other tightly in some of the narrower passages, but it was nothing inappropriate."

Brigitte chuckled, her amusement clear. "I'll bet it was exciting nonetheless. You'll have to take us with you next time, Solace."

The chapter ended with Solace's heart racing, both from the memory of his adventure and from the flirtatious banter with Brigitte. He couldn't wait to see what the next chapter held.
