Chronos' Daughter: A Bend in Time, A Twist in Desire

Chapter One: The Sparring Grounds

Camp Half-Blood's sparring grounds were always bustling with activity, but today, all eyes were on a striking young woman with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. Ophelia. She moved with a grace and precision that was both captivating and intimidating as she finished her hundredth sparring match of the day.

Percy and Annabeth approached a nearby camper, curious about Ophelia's identity. "Who's that?" Percy asked, nodding in Ophelia's direction.

The camper laughed, "You don't want to know, Percy. She'll put you in your place if you try to hurt her. Her name's Ophelia, daughter of Kronos."

Ophelia overheard the conversation, amused by the camper's playful insult. She wiped the sweat from her brow and walked over to Percy and Annabeth. "Care to join me for a match?" she asked, her voice laced with a confident smirk.

Percy, intrigued, accepted the challenge. "Always up for a sparring match," he replied, his competitive spirit ignited.

As they began, Ophelia easily predicted and counters Percy's movements. Her skill and poise were impressive, leaving Annabeth watching in awe.

Percy, slightly frustrated, tried a different approach, only to be met with another swift counter from Ophelia. "You're too predictable, Percy," she said, her voice filled with friendly advice. "Try something new."

Percy, determined to land a hit, took Ophelia's advice and changed his strategy. Ophelia, impressed by Percy's improvement, offered a compliment. "Not bad, Percy. You're learning."

Their sparring match ended in a friendly tie, leaving both parties satisfied. Annabeth and Percy thanked Ophelia for the match and asked about her background.

Ophelia, with a mysterious smile, revealed she was the only child of Kronos. A momentary silence fell over the group before the conversation continued, but Percy and Annabeth couldn't help but feel a spark of intrigue and attraction towards the enigmatic Ophelia.

"Fascinating," Percy said, unable to take his eyes off of her.

Ophelia laughed, "I'm glad you think so. Perhaps we can spar again sometime?"

"I'd like that," Percy replied, his heart pounding in his chest.

As the day came to a close, Ophelia left the sparring grounds with a confident stride, leaving Percy and Annabeth to wonder what the future held for the three of them.
