Classroom Bargain: Rihanna's Risky Deal

### Chapter One: Classroom Conundrums

The late afternoon sun filtered through the dusty blinds of Room 204, casting long, lazy shadows across the scuffed linoleum floor. The air was thick with the monotony of a math lesson that had dragged on far too long. Mr. Hargrove, a man whose voice could bore paint off walls, droned on about quadratic equations, his chalk scraping against the board like nails on a chalkboard. Most of the class had checked out ages ago, and Mark Daniels was no exception.

Slouched at his desk near the back, the senior’s lanky frame sprawled carelessly, one hand lazily doodling in his notebook. His sketches were far from academic—crude, inappropriate cartoons of exaggerated figures in compromising positions. A smirk played on his lips as he added another lewd detail, completely oblivious to the equations on the board. Mark was the kind of guy who oozed charm, even when he wasn’t trying—a cocky bastard with a grin that could melt butter, and he knew it.

A few desks away, Rihanna Carter sat hunched over her own notebook, her petite frame tense with frustration. The freshman’s dark curls bounced slightly as she shook her head, muttering curses under her breath at the incomprehensible mess of numbers staring back at her. She was sharp as a tack, with a tongue that could cut glass, but math? Math was her personal hell. Her hazel eyes darted between her empty page and the board, desperation creeping in with every passing second. A quiz was looming, and she was nowhere near prepared.

Finally, with a huff, Rihanna leaned over, her voice dropping to a low, dangerous hiss that cut through the classroom hum. “Hey, doodle-boy. Let me copy your answers. I know you’ve got ‘em, even if you’re too busy drawing your little fantasies to pay attention.”

Mark’s head snapped up, his smirk widening as he caught the fire in her gaze. He leaned back in his chair, twirling his pencil between his fingers with a casual arrogance. “Oh, princess, you think I’m just gonna hand over my hard-earned genius for free?” His whisper carried a teasing lilt, his blue eyes glinting with mischief. “How ‘bout a trade? You get my answers, and I get… let’s say, a very personal favor in return.”

Rihanna’s eyes narrowed, her lips pressing into a thin line, but a spark of something—amusement, maybe—flickered in her expression. She tilted her head, studying him like a cat sizing up a particularly annoying mouse. “A favor, huh? What is this, some kind of desperate perv barter system?” Her voice dripped with venom, but there was a playful edge to it, a challenge. She didn’t back away, didn’t blush or stammer. Instead, she held his gaze, unflinching.

Mark chuckled, low and throaty, completely unfazed by her jab. He leaned closer, his voice dropping even lower, laced with suggestion. “Call me whatever you want, sweetheart, but I’m just sayin’—you scratch my back, I scratch yours. Or… other places, if you’re feelin’ adventurous.” He punctuated the offer with a slow, deliberate wink, daring her to bite.

Rihanna rolled her eyes so hard it was practically audible, her scoff cutting through the air like a whip. “Oh, please. You’re about as smooth as sandpaper, Daniels. If I wanted to trade favors, I’d at least pick someone who doesn’t beg for it in the middle of algebra.” She leaned in closer, her tone dripping with mock disdain, her breath warm against his ear. “But fine, let’s play your little game. My terms, though. You don’t get to call the shots, got it?”

Before Mark could respond with another quip, the bell rang, shrill and jarring, snapping the tension like a rubber band. The classroom erupted into chaos—chairs scraping, bags zipping, voices rising as students bolted for freedom. Rihanna stood in one fluid motion, slinging her bag over her shoulder with a confidence that belied her freshman status. She jerked her head toward the door, a silent command that left no room for argument. “Come on, genius. Let’s see if you’re worth the trouble.”

Mark’s grin spread wide, like he’d just hit the jackpot. He shoved his notebook into his bag with a careless toss, scrambling to his feet to follow her. He tried to play it cool, hands in his pockets, but the spring in his step betrayed his excitement. Rihanna led the way through the crowded hallway, her petite frame weaving through the sea of students with purpose, her dark curls bouncing with every determined step. Over her shoulder, she tossed a barb, her voice cutting through the noise. “You know, for someone who thinks he’s hot shit, your bargaining skills are pathetic. What’s next, trading answers for a handshake?”

Mark laughed, loud and unapologetic, jogging a step to keep up. “Hey, don’t underestimate me, Ri. I’m just gettin’ started. Besides, you’re all bark and no bite. Bet you’re just draggin’ me along for the thrill of it.”

She shot him a withering look over her shoulder, but the corner of her mouth twitched, betraying a smirk. “Keep talking, Daniels. You’re about to find out just how much bite I’ve got.”

They reached the end of the hall, where a rarely used bathroom sat tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Rihanna didn’t hesitate, pushing the door open with a confident stride, not even glancing back to see if Mark was following. The door swung shut behind them with a heavy thud, the echo of their footsteps on the tiled floor amplifying the sudden, electric silence that settled between them. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting a harsh glow over the empty space, and for the first time since their banter began, neither of them spoke. The air crackled, heavy with unspoken possibilities, as Rihanna turned to face him, her hazel eyes locking onto his with an intensity that made his smirk falter, just for a second.

“Well?” she said finally, crossing her arms and arching a brow, her voice low and commanding. “You gonna stand there gawking, or are we doing this?”

Mark swallowed, his usual cockiness momentarily shaken, but he recovered quickly, stepping closer with a grin. “Oh, we’re doing this, princess. Just waiting for you to make the first move.”

Her lips curled into a wicked smile, and in that moment, it was clear who was really in control.
