The wind howled and the rain pelted against the rocky cliff, but Queen Bett stood tall, her eyes fixed on the stormy sea below. She let out a chuckle, her mind drifting to a memory of her and Witt, her premier-minister, getting drunk and making love. It was a night she would never forget, and now she realized she was pregnant with Witt's child.
Bett turned her gaze to Witt, who stood at the edge of the cliff, her hands covered in dragon scales. Witt's shoulders were slumped, and Bett could sense her dejection. She approached her, teasing, "What's wrong, Witt? Afraid of getting a little wet?"
Witt tried to walk away, but Bett stopped her. "Wait, I'm not done with you yet. I've been meaning to ask, what's with those claws of yours? You're supposed to be a knight, not a dragon."
Witt, feeling embarrassed, tried to make a joke. "Well, at least I have something manly about me. Unlike you, who's been drinking like a fish."
Bett's smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure. "I'm not drunk, Witt. I'm pregnant. With your child."
Witt stared at Bett, her mind racing. "You're what?"
Bett took a step closer, her voice firm. "I'm pregnant, Witt. And it's your child. I'm telling you the truth."
Witt's disbelief was clear, but Bett didn't back down. "Come on, Witt. We need to go back to the castle. I'll prove it to you."
Witt followed Bett back to the castle, her mind still in shock. As they walked, Bett couldn't resist teasing Witt. "You know, Witt, you really need to work on your femininity. Those claws of yours are a little too manly for my taste."
Witt rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile. "Well, at least I have something to offer. Unlike you, who's been drinking away your problems."
Bett laughed, her spirits lifted. "I'm not drinking away my problems, Witt. I'm celebrating. I'm finally going to have a family."
They finally reached the royal bedroom, and Bett took control of the situation. She undressed Witt, admiring her "manly" form. Witt, feeling desired for the first time, gave in to her feelings and made love to Bett, finally expressing her true emotions.
As they lay in bed, Bett ran her hands over Witt's "claws", marveling at their strength and their connection. Witt, feeling content and loved, fell asleep in Bett's arms, looking forward to their future together.
Bett, smiling, watched Witt sleep, already planning their life as a family. She knew there would be challenges ahead, but she was ready to face them with Witt by her side. The storm outside had nothing on the storm of emotions brewing inside of her, but she was ready to ride it out. She was the queen, after all.
