Claws vs. Fangs: A Purring Good Time with that Persistent Wolf Blake's ears twitched, her tail flicking with annoyance as she stormed down the bustling streets of Vale. The sun was shining, casting long shadows between the buildings, and the smell of flowers and food filled the air. But all of that was lost on her as she grumbled under her breath. Canines. Always so loud, always so annoying. I swear, if I have to deal with one more slobbery, space-invading mutt today, I'm going to lose it. Her emerald eyes scanned the crowd, her gaze narrowing as she spotted a group of canine Faunus up ahead. They were barking and laughing, drawing attention to themselves as they shoved and jostled each other. Blake rolled her eyes and moved to cross the street, only to come to a sudden stop as a familiar scent caught her nose. She turned, her eyes widening as she saw a wolf Faunus standing just a few feet away. Her fur was a sleek, icy white, and her eyes were a piercing blue that seemed to see right through Blake. She was tall and lean, with a confident air that made Blake's heart race. Well, well, well, the wolf said, a smirk twitching at the corners of her lips. If it isn't the cat Faunus who hates canines. Imagine running into me, of all people. Blake's eyes narrowed as she took in the wolf's appearance. She was everything Blake hated about canines - loud, annoying, and space-invading. But there was something about her that Blake couldn't quite put her finger on. Something that made her heart skip a beat. Weiss, Blake said, her voice low and cautious. What are you doing here? Weiss shrugged, her smirk growing wider. Just enjoying the day. And who better to enjoy it with than my favorite cat Faunus? Blake's eyes narrowed even further. I'm not your favorite anything. And I don't want to be. Weiss laughed, the sound rich and full. Oh, come on. Don't be like that. I'm sure we can find something to do together. Something that will make you forget all about your dislike of canines. Blake's heart raced as she took a step back. I don't think that's a good idea. I don't even like you. Weiss's smirk turned into a full-blown grin. Oh, I think you do. And I think you're just too stubborn to admit it. Blake opened her mouth to protest, but Weiss cut her off with a wave of her hand. No need to argue. I'll prove it to you. I'll show you just how much fun we can have together. And who knows? Maybe you'll even change your mind about canines. Blake's eyes widened as Weiss stepped closer, her heart pounding in her chest. I don't think- But before she could finish her sentence, Weiss's lips were on hers, cutting off her words with a kiss that took Blake's breath away. She stiffened, her mind racing as she tried to process what was happening. But as Weiss's tongue danced against hers, she found herself melting, her body responding to the wolf's touch in a way she never thought possible. See? Weiss murmured, pulling back just enough to speak. I told you we could have fun together. And I'm not even a slobbery mutt. Blake's mind was a whirl of confusion and desire. She knew she should push Weiss away, tell her to leave her alone. But as the wolf's hands roamed over her body, she found herself unable to resist. Fine, she whispered, her voice barely audible. But just for today. And then you have to leave me alone. Weiss's grin grew wider. Deal. But I have a feeling you're going to want more than just today. And as the two Faunus lost themselves in each other, the sun shone down on them, casting long shadows between the buildings, and the smell of flowers and food filled the air. But all of that was lost on them as they laughed and teased each other, their bodies moving together in a dance as old as time. And for just a moment, Blake forgot all about her dislike of canines.

Chapter One: Unintended Introductions

The sun beat down on the bustling Faunus marketplace, the scent of exotic spices and grilled meats filling the air. Amidst the crowd, a sleek black cat Faunus named Blake prowled through the stalls, her tail swishing with disdain as she overheard a group of rowdy canine Faunus. She rolled her eyes, the audacity of those dogs, always causing a ruckus.

As she continued her search for fresh herbs, she felt a bump from behind, and her groceries tumbled to the ground. "Watch it!" she hissed, turning to face the culprit. A tall, slender wolf Faunus with icy blue eyes and a smirk on her lips stood there, unapologetic.

"My apologies, I was in a bit of a hurry," the wolf said, her voice smooth and sophisticated. She bent down to help Blake gather the spilled items, and Blake couldn't help but notice the woman's toned arms and the way her ears twitched with amusement.

"Slobbering oaf," Blake muttered under her breath, unable to resist the jab. The wolf looked up, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I'm Weiss. And you are?" she asked, extending a hand. Blake hesitated for a moment before taking it, her grip firm.

"Blake. And I'm not one for small talk, so if you'll excuse me," she said, trying to walk away. But Weiss wasn't done yet.

"I find that hard to believe, given your fiery personality. I would love to get to know you better," Weiss said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Blake huffed, unable to resist the challenge.

"Fine. Coffee. But only because I'm intrigued by your audacity," Blake said, her voice sharp. Weiss's smirk grew wider.

"I'll take that as a compliment. But first, let me treat you to a replacement for your groceries," Weiss said, gesturing to the spilled items. Blake rolled her eyes but accepted, unable to resist the wolf's charm.

Over coffee, Weiss revealed her admiration for Blake's grace and agility, making Blake blush. "I've always had a soft spot for cats, they're so elegant and mysterious," Weiss said, her voice low. Blake raised an eyebrow, unable to resist the bait.

"And I've always had a soft spot for wolves, they're so... tenacious," Blake said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Weiss chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I'll take that as a compliment. But I must warn you, I'm not one to back down from a challenge," Weiss said, her voice firm. Blake's competitive nature kicked in, and she couldn't resist.

"Then let's have a sparring match. I'll show you my grace and agility," Blake said, her voice confident. Weiss's smirk grew wider.

"I accept your challenge. But this time, with a twist," Weiss said, her voice mysterious. Blake's interest was piqued.

"And what twist would that be?" Blake asked, her voice sharp. Weiss leaned in, her breath hot on Blake's ear.

"Winner gets to ask the other out on a real date," Weiss whispered, her voice seductive. Blake's heart raced, but she couldn't resist the challenge.

"You're on," Blake said, her voice firm. The sparring match was intense, and Blake realized that Weiss was a formidable opponent. But she refused to back down, her competitive nature taking over.

As they took a break, Weiss teased Blake about her competitive nature, causing Blake to huff and deny it. "I'm not competitive, I'm just better than you," Blake said, her voice sharp. Weiss chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Keep telling yourself that, kitty," Weiss said, her voice taunting. Blake's competitive nature kicked in again, and she accepted Weiss's challenge for a rematch.

As they finished the match, Weiss complimented Blake on her improvement, causing Blake to smile and admit that she had fun. "You're a formidable opponent, Blake. I'm impressed," Weiss said, her voice sincere. Blake blushed, unable to resist Weiss's charm.

"Thank you. You're not so bad yourself," Blake said, her voice soft. Weiss seized the opportunity and asked Blake on a real date, making Blake's heart race.

"I would love to take you out on a real date, Blake. What do you say?" Weiss asked, her voice hopeful. Blake hesitated for a moment, still wary but unable to resist Weiss's charm.

"Alright. But no drooling," Blake said, her voice playful. Weiss chuckled, already looking forward to their next encounter.

As they parted ways, Weiss watched Blake leave with a smile, her heart racing with excitement. Blake, despite her initial reservations, found herself excited for the date and couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her and Weiss.
