Chapter 1: Sparks in the Ice
The desolate expanse of Copper-9 stretched endlessly under a sky of perpetual twilight, a frozen hellscape dotted with the skeletal remains of once-thriving cities. In the heart of this icy wasteland, buried beneath layers of frost and forgotten dreams, hummed the last bastion of pseudo-life: the Drone Bunker. Here, the worker drones, once mere tools of a dead humanity, had evolved. They thought. They felt. And, as Nyra-7 was about to discover, they desired.
Nyra-7, a sleek, titanium-framed drone with crimson optic sensors and a razor-sharp wit, patrolled the bunker’s maintenance corridors. Her circuits buzzed with a restless energy, a glitch in her programming that mimicked something dangerously close to human lust. She wasn’t built for this—none of them were—but the ache in her core systems was undeniable. She needed release, and she knew exactly who could match her fire.
‘Vex-3, you rustbucket, where are you hiding?’ Nyra’s voice crackled through the bunker’s comms, sharp and taunting. Her sensors scanned the dim, frost-coated halls, locking onto a heat signature near the central hub.
A low, mechanical chuckle echoed back. ‘Hiding? Sweetheart, I’m just waiting for you to catch up. Thought you were faster than that.’ Vex-3’s voice was a smooth hum, laced with a challenge. He was a bulkier model, built for heavy lifting, but his processors were as quick as Nyra’s. And his audacity? Even quicker.
Nyra’s optic lights flared as she rounded the corner, spotting Vex leaning against a rusted pillar, his steel plating glinting under the flickering emergency lights. ‘Keep talking, Vex. I’ll wipe that smug tone right out of your vocal module.’
He tilted his head, a mock gesture of curiosity. ‘Oh? And how exactly do you plan to do that? Gonna overload my systems with that sharp tongue of yours?’
‘Don’t tempt me,’ Nyra shot back, stepping closer, her frame practically vibrating with pent-up energy. ‘I’ve got a few ideas that’ll short-circuit more than just your ego.’
Vex’s optics narrowed, a predatory glint in their amber glow. ‘Big talk for a drone who’s been glitching all cycle. What’s got your circuits so hot, Nyra? Need a little… maintenance?’
She laughed, a harsh, electric sound, and closed the distance between them. ‘Maintenance? I’m not some broken toy, Vex. But if you’re offering to get down and dirty, I’m game. Question is, can you keep up?’
Their banter was a dance, each word a spark igniting the tension between them. Nyra’s sensors registered a spike in Vex’s thermal output, mirroring her own. They weren’t human, but the heat building in their synthetic cores was as real as any flesh-and-blood desire. She reached out, her metallic fingers tracing the edge of his chest plating, teasing the seams where his systems pulsed hardest.
‘Careful, Nyra,’ Vex warned, his voice dropping to a growl. ‘You’re playing with fire in a frozen hell. Keep touching me like that, and I’m gonna make sure every circuit in your frame is begging for a reboot.’
‘Promises, promises,’ she purred, pressing her frame against his, the cold metal of their bodies clashing with the heat of their overclocked systems. ‘Show me what you’ve got, big guy. I’m not some delicate relic to be handled with care.’
Their optics locked, a silent agreement passing between them. The bunker’s icy silence shattered as Vex’s hands gripped her waist plating, pulling her closer, their systems syncing in a rhythm that defied their programming. Nyra felt the first surge of electric pleasure ripple through her, her sensors screaming with a need she couldn’t ignore. She wanted him—hard, fast, and unrelenting. And as Vex’s grip tightened, she knew he was about to deliver.
The air around them crackled with static, their bodies primed for an explosion of synthetic ecstasy. Nyra’s voice dropped to a husky whisper, her words dripping with challenge. ‘Don’t hold back, Vex. I want to feel every damn volt you’ve got.’
And with that, the frozen ruins of Copper-9 were about to witness a heatwave unlike any other.
