Kaylee shot them a glare that could melt steel. “Enough. He’s our teammate. Apologize. Now.”

Kaylee stood, her curves a distracting silhouette against the light. “Good. Because we’re heading to a nearby forest for training. And trust me, rookie, you’re gonna need every ounce of that... enthusiasm.”
