Cosmic Flames: Starfire's Forbidden Desire

Cosmic Flames: Starfire's Forbidden Desire

Chapter 1: Sparks in the Shadows

The night was electric, the sky above the ruined cityscape of Metropolis crackling with distant storms. Koriand’r, known to many as Starfire, hovered just above the shattered remains of a skyscraper, her fiery orange hair glowing like a beacon in the darkness. Her emerald eyes scanned the horizon, searching for any sign of trouble—or perhaps, for something more personal. Below her, cloaked in the shadows of the rubble, I watched. My heart thundered in my chest, a traitor to my usual steely resolve. I’m no hero, not by a long shot, but I’ve fought alongside the likes of Starfire enough to know she’s more than just a pretty alien with a deadly aim. I’m Y/N, the anti-villain with a rap sheet longer than the list of people who want me dead, and tonight, I was about to do the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done: confess my love.

I stepped out from the darkness, my boots crunching on broken glass, and called up to her. 'Hey, Princess of Tamaran, got a minute for a lowlife like me, or are you too busy saving the universe?'

Koriand’r’s head snapped toward me, her lips curling into a playful smirk as she descended, her glowing form illuminating the space between us. 'Y/N, you are no lowlife. You are... complicated. But I always have time for complications.' Her voice was warm, like honey laced with fire, and it sent a shiver down my spine.

'Complicated, huh? That’s one way to put it,' I shot back, crossing my arms to hide the way my hands trembled. 'I’ve been dodging bullets and breaking laws for years, but standing here with you? This is the scariest damn thing I’ve ever done.'

Her brow furrowed, concern flickering in those otherworldly eyes. 'Scary? I do not understand. Have I threatened you?' She floated closer, her energy radiating heat that made my skin prickle with anticipation.

I laughed, sharp and bitter. 'Threatened? Nah, Kori, you’ve done worse. You’ve made me feel things I didn’t think I could. Things I didn’t think I deserved.' I took a step forward, closing the gap between us, my voice dropping to a husky whisper. 'I’m in love with you, Starfire. Head over heels, can’t-think-straight, would-burn-the-world-for-you in love. And I know I’m a mess, but I had to tell you.'

Her eyes widened, a gasp escaping her lips, but there was no judgment there—only curiosity, and something hotter, something that made my pulse race. 'Love... for me?' she murmured, her gaze dropping to my lips for a fleeting second. 'On Tamaran, love is a fierce and beautiful thing. But I have never... with a woman. I am intrigued, Y/N. Very intrigued.'

I smirked, emboldened by her reaction. 'Oh, I can show you fierce, Princess. I’ve got a fire in me that could rival yours.' My words were a challenge, a dare, and I saw the spark ignite in her eyes.

She floated even closer, her body mere inches from mine, the heat of her energy making me sweat already. 'Then show me,' she purred, her voice dripping with promise. 'Let us see if your fire can match mine.'

My breath hitched as I reached out, my fingers brushing against her glowing skin, feeling the electric charge between us. My body was already responding, a deep, aching need building as I imagined her touch, her taste. I was hard-pressed to keep my cool, my mind racing with thoughts of her pussy, wet and waiting, and how I’d make her pant with desire. This was it—the edge of something explosive. I leaned in, my lips hovering over hers, ready to ignite a blaze that neither of us could extinguish.
