Felicity sighed as she reluctantly entered the city zoo, her eyes rolling at the sight of the animals. She had promised her friends she would join them for a day out, but she couldn't help but feel bored already.
As she walked past the zebras, she noticed a young man standing nearby, admiring them with a bright smile on his face. She couldn't help but be drawn to his enthusiasm.
"Hey, what's your deal?" one of Felicity's friends called out to the man, approaching him with a sneer. "You look like you don't belong here."
Felicity's protective instincts kicked in as she saw her friend belittling the man. "Leave him alone," she said firmly. "He's not hurting anyone."
The man, named Ethan, thanked Felicity for sticking up for him. They struck up a conversation, and Felicity found herself drawn to his sharp wit and charm.
But things took a turn when Ethan accidentally spilled his drink on Felicity, causing her to scold him playfully. "Clumsy much?" she teased.
Ethan tried to help Felicity clean up, but only made things worse, causing Felicity to laugh. "You're hopeless," she said, shaking her head.
Felicity's friends continued to harass Ethan, but Felicity stood her ground. "Leave him alone," she said again, her voice firm. "He's not bothering anyone."
But things took a turn when Ethan tripped and fell, breaking a vase in Felicity's home. "Oh no!" he cried out, tears welling up in his eyes.
Felicity comforted him, finding his clumsiness endearing. "It's just a vase," she assured him. "I'm more concerned about you."
Ethan thanked Felicity for being understanding, and they continued to get to know each other.
But Felicity's friends tried to intervene again, trying to tear them apart. But Felicity shut them down, telling them to mind their own business.
