Cougar's Crush: A Lesson in Love and Respect

Chapter One: Age is Just a Number

The trendy, upscale bar was buzzing with energy as Felicity and her boyfriend Ethan walked through the door. Felicity was dressed in a tight red dress that hugged her curves and accentuated her confidence. She was a woman who knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it.

Ethan, on the other hand, was wearing a wrinkled shirt and jeans. He was a young, penniless student who was head over heels in love with Felicity. He knew he wasn't the most sophisticated man in the room, but he didn't care. He was happy just being with Felicity.

As they made their way to the bar, Felicity introduced Ethan to one of her female friends, a successful businesswoman named Victoria. Victoria raised an eyebrow as she looked Ethan up and down, taking in his disheveled appearance.

"You couldn't find someone your own age to date?" Victoria asked Felicity, her voice dripping with skepticism. "You had to settle for this...boy?"

Ethan tried to make small talk with Victoria, but she dismissed him and turned back to Felicity. Feeling embarrassed, Ethan excused himself to go to the bathroom.

Once Ethan was out of earshot, Victoria turned to Felicity and said, "I don't know what you see in him. He's so young and inexperienced. He's not even worth your time."

Felicity defended Ethan, saying that he was smart and ambitious. She told Victoria that age was just a number and that she was happy with him.

"Well, I'll believe it when I see it," Victoria scoffed. "He doesn't seem like your type at all."

Ethan returned from the bathroom and overheard Victoria's last comment. He felt a surge of anger and approached Victoria.

"Excuse me, but I'm right here," Ethan said, his voice steady and confident. "I may be young, but I'm not invisible."

Victoria looked surprised but quickly recovered. "Oh, I didn't mean it like that," she said. "I was just teasing."

Ethan didn't believe her and said, "You know what? I don't need to prove myself to you. I'm happy with Felicity, and that's all that matters."

Victoria was taken aback by Ethan's confidence and couldn't help but be impressed. She said, "Well, I'll be damned. You might just be worth something after all."

Ethan smiled and said, "Thank you. I appreciate that."

Felicity watched the exchange with pride. She was glad that Ethan stood up for himself and showed Victoria that he was more than just a boy toy. She took Ethan's hand and led him away from the bar, ready to show him just how much she cared about him.

As they walked out into the cool night air, Felicity turned to Ethan and said, "I'm so proud of you. You showed her that you're not someone to be messed with."

Ethan grinned and said, "I couldn't let you down, Felicity. You're the only one who sees me for who I really am."

Felicity leaned in and kissed Ethan, her lips soft and warm against his. She whispered, "And I wouldn't have it any other way."

As they walked hand in hand down the street, Felicity couldn't help but feel grateful for the young man by her side. Age was just a number, and she was happy to prove it to anyone who doubted her.
