Cougar's Plaything: A Slap of Reality

Chapter One: A Taste of Reality

The cougar's penthouse was a sight to behold, with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The sleek, modern furnishings and tasteful decorations spoke to the success and sophistication of its owner, a successful businesswoman in her 40s who had worked hard to earn her place at the top.

As she led her young boyfriend into the living room, the cougar couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. He was a handsome, naive 20-something with bright eyes and a charming smile. She had taken him under her wing, teaching him the ways of the world and introducing him to new experiences.

"Darling, I'd like you to meet my dear friend, Elizabeth," the cougar said, gesturing to a no-nonsense woman in her 50s who sat on the couch. "Elizabeth, this is my boyfriend, Jake."

Elizabeth, who had seen it all, barely glanced up from her glass of wine. "Cute," she muttered, dismissing the boy with a wave of her hand.

The cougar playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Elizabeth. Don't be so cranky. Jake is a sweetheart."

"Sweetheart, my ass," Elizabeth retorted. "He's just a child, playing at being a man. He needs to grow up and stop acting like a baby."

Jake, who had been standing quietly, stiffened at the harsh words. He opened his mouth to protest, but Elizabeth was not finished. Before he could react, she was on her feet, striding towards him with a determined look in her eyes.

Without warning, she slapped him hard across the face, causing him to cry out in surprise and pain.

"Your cuteness is not attractive, Jake," Elizabeth said sternly. "You need to shatter your innocence and become a better person. Stop being so naive and start living in the real world."

The cougar tried to intervene, but Elizabeth would not be swayed. "He needs a reality check, and I'm going to give it to him," she said firmly.

Jake, still crying, tried to defend himself, but Elizabeth cut him off. "You need to toughen up and stop being so sensitive. The world is a harsh place, and you need to be prepared for it."

The cougar, torn between her loyalty to her friend and her concern for her boyfriend, tried to mediate the situation. "Elizabeth, Jake is still young. He's learning," she said gently.

But Elizabeth was unyielding. "You're enabling his immaturity, and it's not helping him. He needs to face the harsh truth and become a man."

The cougar, realizing that her friend was right, reluctantly agreed. "Jake, you need to listen to Elizabeth and take her advice to heart. She's only trying to help you."

Jake, still crying, nodded in understanding. "I'll try to mature and become a better person," he said, wiping at his tears.

Elizabeth, satisfied, patted him on the shoulder. "Good. I'll keep an eye on you and make sure you follow through on your promise."

The cougar, grateful for her friend's guidance, thanked her and promised to support Jake as he grew and learned.

As the three of them sat down to talk, the cougar and Elizabeth shared a knowing look. They were confident that Jake would become a man under their watchful eyes. It was going to be a wild ride, but they were ready for it.
