The living room of the suburban family home was a chaotic masterpiece of nostalgia and neglect. A worn-out couch, its faded floral pattern barely clinging to life, sat as the centerpiece amidst a sea of mismatched furniture. Scattered toys from younger days—plastic dinosaurs, half-broken action figures, and a rogue Barbie head—littered the carpet like landmines. The faint hum of a forgotten TV in the background played some mindless infomercial, casting flickering light across the room as dusk settled outside.
Mia lounged on the couch, one leg draped over the armrest, her phone in hand as she scrolled through memes with a devilish smirk. At 24, she was a storm of confidence wrapped in a tight tank top and cutoff shorts, her dark hair spilling over her shoulders in a messy cascade. She’d been roped into babysitting her 18-year-old cousin, Timmy, for the weekend while the rest of the family escaped to some dull reunion. Babysitting. As if Timmy, with his lanky frame and awkward teenage energy, needed a keeper. Still, Mia saw it as an opportunity for entertainment. And oh, was she about to get some.
She’d caught him earlier. Noticed the way his eyes darted toward the cracked door of the guest room where she’d been changing out of her travel clothes. The little sneak thought he was slick, hovering in the hallway with that guilty flush creeping up his neck. Mia had let it slide for the moment, slipping into her outfit with a knowing grin. But now? Now it was time to play.
“Timmy!” Her voice cut through the hum of the TV, sharp and teasing, as she sat up straighter on the couch. “Get your scrawny butt in here. We need to have a little chat.”
Timmy shuffled into the room from the kitchen, a can of soda in hand, his cheeks already tinged pink. He was all limbs and uncertainty, his messy blond hair falling into his eyes as he tried to play it cool. “Uh, what’s up, Mia?”
“Oh, don’t ‘what’s up’ me, kiddo.” She swung her legs down, planting her bare feet on the carpet as she leaned forward, her gaze pinning him like a predator sizing up prey. “I saw you. Skulking around like some creepy little voyeur while I was changing. What, they don’t teach manners in high school anymore?”
His eyes widened, the soda can nearly slipping from his grip. “W-what? I wasn’t—I mean, I didn’t mean to—”
“Save it.” Mia held up a hand, her smirk widening into something wicked. “You’ve got guilty written all over that baby face of yours. Thought you’d get a free show, huh? Well, guess what, Timmy-boy? Shows aren’t free. There’s always a price.”
Timmy swallowed hard, taking an involuntary step back, but Mia was already on her feet, closing the distance with the grace of a cat stalking a mouse. “I—I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to look. I just… I was just passing by, and—”
“Passing by with your eyeballs glued to the door crack?” She arched a brow, crossing her arms over her chest as she towered over him. At 5’8”, she wasn’t much taller, but her presence made her seem like a giant. “You’re a terrible liar, you know that? But lucky for you, I’m in a generous mood. I’m gonna teach you a lesson instead of ratting you out to Aunt Linda.”
“A lesson?” His voice cracked, and Mia had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. God, this was too easy.
“Oh yeah. A real hands-on kind of lesson.” Before he could bolt, she lunged forward, grabbing his wrist and yanking him toward the couch. Timmy yelped, stumbling as she shoved him down onto the cushions with a strength that caught him off guard. He landed with a thud, staring up at her with wide, panicked eyes as she loomed over him.
“Mia, what the hell—?”
“Language, Timmy,” she tutted, climbing onto the couch and straddling his waist in one fluid motion. Her knees pinned his hips down, her hands pressing his shoulders into the worn fabric as she leaned in close, her hair brushing against his cheek. “You’ve been a naughty little perv, and now you’re gonna pay for it. You know what happens to sneaky boys who can’t keep their eyes to themselves?”
He squirmed beneath her, his face a brilliant shade of red as he stammered, “I—I don’t know, uh, they get grounded or something?”
Mia threw her head back and laughed, the sound rich and taunting. “Grounded? Oh, sweetheart, you’re in my court now. And my punishments are a lot more… personal.” She shifted her weight, her thighs tightening around him as she hovered just above his chest, her smirk pure mischief. “Ever heard of the Throne of Tease?”
“The… what?” His voice was barely a whisper, his eyes darting everywhere but her face, as if looking at her would burn him alive.
“It’s my specialty,” she purred, lowering herself just enough that her presence was impossible to ignore, her tone dripping with mock menace. “See, I sit right here, nice and comfy, until naughty boys like you learn their lesson. And if you’re extra bad? Well, I might just sit a little lower. Make you really squirm.”
Timmy’s breath hitched, his hands twitching at his sides as if he wasn’t sure whether to push her off or surrender completely. “Mia, come on, this is— this is crazy. I said I’m sorry!”
“Sorry doesn’t cut it, kid.” She leaned in closer, her lips curling into a grin as she watched him flinch. “You’ve gotta earn forgiveness. So, tell me, Timmy, how does it feel to be under my command? Pretty overwhelming, huh? Bet you didn’t think your weekend would end with you pinned under your hot cousin’s iron rule.”
“You’re… you’re insane,” he muttered, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—nervousness, sure, but also a reluctant fascination. He was caught, and she knew it.
“Insane? Nah. I’m just creative.” She tilted her head, her voice dropping to a whisper as she lowered herself a fraction more, just close enough to make his heart race. “And trust me, I’ve got plenty more tricks up my sleeve to keep you in line. So, you gonna behave, or do I need to make this throne a permanent seat?”
He squirmed harder, his voice a desperate squeak. “I’ll behave! I swear, Mia, I’ll— I’ll do whatever you say, just… don’t, uh, don’t do that.”
Mia chuckled, the sound low and dangerous, as she held her position for a long, torturous moment, letting the tension build until it was almost unbearable. Then, with a dramatic sigh, she sat back slightly, still pinning him but giving him just enough space to breathe. “Fine. I’ll let you off easy… for now. But cross me again, Timmy, and I won’t be so nice. Understand?”
“Y-yeah. Understood.” His chest heaved, his eyes wide and glassy as he stared up at her, completely at her mercy.
“Good boy.” She patted his cheek, her touch light but possessive, before finally climbing off him and flopping back onto the couch with a satisfied grin. “Now, go get me a soda. I’ve earned it after dealing with your nonsense.”
Timmy scrambled to his feet, nearly tripping over a toy truck in his haste, his face still burning as he muttered a quick “Yes, ma’am” and bolted for the kitchen. Mia watched him go, her laughter echoing through the cluttered room as she stretched out on the couch, already plotting her next move. This weekend was going to be anything but boring.
