Cravings, Husbands, and Heavenly Bumps: A Goddesses' Pregnancy Tale with a Dash of Wifely Wit

Chapter One: Goddesses Gone Wild

The garden of Brigitte, the goddess of fertility, was a sight to behold. A riot of colors from vibrant flowers and exotic plants greeted the senses, their sweet scent mingling with the gentle summer breeze. Four goddesses, each reclining on plush cushions, sipped on nectar and nibbled on ambrosia, the food of the gods.

Brigitte, the hostess, flashed a mischievous grin. "So, my dear goddesses, I have a question for you all. Have you had any interesting pregnancy cravings yet?"

Hera, the queen of the gods, rolled her eyes dramatically. "I can't believe I'm having another one of Zeus's demigod children. I don't even want to think about the cravings."

Amphimtrire, the goddess of the sea, chuckled. "At least Poseidon is excited about our little mermaid. He's been bringing me all sorts of seafood."

Persephone, the goddess of the underworld, chipped in. "Hades is just happy he'll have someone to take over his kingdom. I've been craving all sorts of strange fruits from the underworld."

Brigitte shared her own peculiar craving. "I can't get enough of pickles and ice cream. It's so strange, but it just hits the spot."

The other goddesses burst into laughter. Hera playfully insulted Brigitte. "I always knew you were a little nuts, but pickles and ice cream?"

Brigitte retorted, "At least Apollo didn't run away when I told him I was pregnant. He's been waiting on me hand and foot."

Amphimtrire and Persephone shared their own stories of their husbands' reactions. They discussed how their husbands had been treating them since they got pregnant. Brigitte shared her experience of Apollo's doting nature.

Hera scoffed, "Zeus just grumbled about another mouth to feed. I swear, he's more excited about his latest lightning bolt than our unborn child."

Amphimtrire and Persephone shared their experiences of their husbands being overly protective. The goddesses discussed if their pregnancies were planned or not.

Brigitte revealed that she and Apollo had been trying for a while. Hera admitted that she and Zeus had an "accident."

The conversation flowed like the sweetest of wines, sharp and witty, the goddesses reveling in their shared experiences and camaraderie. As the sun began to set, they continued to laugh and share stories, the bond between them strengthening with each passing moment.
