Cravings, Husbands, and Heavenly Scandals: A Goddess Pregnancy Chronicle

Chapter One: Goddesses Gather

The sun cast a golden glow over Brigitte's extravagant garden, filled with vibrant flowers and soothing fountains. The four goddesses - Brigitte, Hera, Amphitrite, and Persephone - lounged on plush cushions, sipping on nectar and nibbling on ambrosia. Brigitte, with a playful smile, broke the serene silence.

"Ladies, I have a question for you. What have you been craving lately?"

Hera, the goddess of marriage and childbirth, shared her craving for pickled quail eggs, her face lighting up at the memory of their tangy, savory flavor. Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea, confesses her longing for saltwater taffy, the sweet and chewy treat reminding her of the ocean's gentle waves.

Persephone, the goddess of the underworld, with a mischievous glint in her eye, revealed her unusual craving for spicy roasted peanuts. "It's so odd, I know, but the heat and the earthy taste, it's simply irresistible."

Brigitte giggled, revealing her craving for sweet, tangy lemon tarts. "I told Apollo about my pregnancy and his face lit up. I think he's more excited about the lemon tarts than the baby."

Hera rolled her eyes, recounting how Zeus grumbled about the interruption in his philandering when she announced her pregnancy. "Oh, those men of ours, always so predictable."

Amphitrite chuckled, recalling Poseidon's initial shock and subsequent excitement about their upcoming addition. "Mine was thrilled, can you believe it? He even offered to build a palace made entirely of seashells for our little one."

Persephone, with a wry smile, shared her experience of Hades' initial indifference, which turned into begrudging acceptance. "He's still not entirely thrilled, but I catch him staring at my belly from time to time. I think he's growing fond of our little secret."

The goddesses exchanged knowing glances, commenting on how their powerful husbands initially reacted with surprise or annoyance. Brigitte, with a sly grin, asked the question that hung in the air.

"Was your pregnancy planned or not?"

Hera admitted that she and Zeus had been trying for another heir, while Amphitrite shared that Poseidon was thrilled about the unexpected pregnancy. Persephone, with a playful eye-roll, confesses that her pregnancy was indeed unplanned, much to Hades' chagrin.

Brigitte, still grinning, shared that her pregnancy was a delightful surprise, and Apollo has been treating her like a queen ever since. The goddesses commiserated about their husbands' newfound doting tendencies, exchanging humorous anecdotes about their clumsy attempts at caring for their pregnant wives.

As the conversation wound down, the goddesses decided to meet more often to share their experiences, strengthening their bond as friends and confidantes. The sun began to set, casting a soft pink hue over the garden, and the goddesses knew they had found a sacred space in each other's company.
