The garden of Brigette, the earthy goddess, was a spectacle to behold. A sprawling expanse of vibrant flowers and soothing fountains, it was a haven for the goddesses to retreat to when the weight of their divine duties became too heavy. On this particular day, four goddesses graced the garden with their presence: Brigette, Hera, Amphitrite, and Persephone.
Lounging on plush cushions, they sipped on ambrosia, the sweet nectar of the gods, their laughter and conversation filling the air with warmth and camaraderie. It was Brigette who brought up their pregnancy cravings, her playful grin causing the others to chuckle.
"I must admit, I've been craving the sweetest of fruits," Brigette shared, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Apollo has been running himself ragged, trying to keep up with my insatiable appetite."
Hera, the queen of the gods, rolled her eyes at the mention of her husband, Zeus. "Zeus, as usual, has been indifferent to my cravings. I swear, he's as stubborn as a mule."
Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea, shared her story with a bit more excitement. "Poseidon, on the other hand, has been nothing but enthusiastic. His deep voice booms through the halls, asking what he can fetch me next." She let out a laugh, doing an impression of her husband's commanding tone.
Persephone, the goddess of the underworld, sighed at the mention of her husband, Hades. "He simply stared at me, expressionless, before disappearing. I can't say I'm surprised, though. He's as dependable as ever."
The goddesses shared a knowing laugh, their bond strengthened by their shared experiences. Brigette, with a twinkle in her eye, shared her and Apollo's story. "We planned our pregnancy with joy and laughter. Every moment with him is filled with love and doting affection."
Hera threw a playful insult at Brigette, calling her a "lucky charm." Amphitrite chipped in, saying, "At least you have a husband who's present."
Persephone retorted, "I have a husband who's... dependable," causing the others to laugh.
Brigette asked Persephone if her pregnancy was planned, to which she responded with a vague "yes and no." Hera shared her and Zeus's plan for a child, which was more of a command than a discussion. Amphitrite mentioned her and Poseidon's agreement on having a child, but with a hint of exhaustion from his constant energy.
As the sun began to set, the goddesses decided to meet again soon, promising more stories and playful banter. Their laughter echoed through the garden, a testament to their unbreakable bond and their strength as goddesses.
