The delivery room of Mount Olympus' royal hospital was buzzing with excitement as Hephaestus and Ares quietly entered, their eyes immediately drawn to the bassinet in the corner. Hera, still recovering from childbirth, noticed their wide-eyed expressions and asked, "Is she alright?"
Hephaestus and Ares assured her that the baby was perfect, and Hera beckoned for the nurse to bring her the child. As the nurse handed Hera her baby, she removed the hat and blanket, revealing a head of curly red hair and light blue eyes. Zeus entered the room, equally shocked at the sight of their daughter.
"Red hair and blue eyes?" Zeus exclaimed. "I've never seen anything like it!"
Hera and Zeus shared a moment of disbelief, as red hair and blue eyes were extremely rare among the gods. The rest of the gods began to enter the room, bringing gifts for the baby. Aphrodite, with her blonde hair and blue eyes, couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at the baby's beauty.
Hera took note of Aphrodite's reaction and couldn't help but smirk at her petty jealousy. When she got to Aphrodite's gift, she teased, "Oh, Aphrodite, I'm surprised you could even find something worthy for someone so much more beautiful than you."
Aphrodite's face turned red, and she stormed out of the room, only to be stopped by Hera.
"Don't be in such a hurry, dear," Hera said, a wicked gleam in her eye. "You wouldn't want to miss out on all the fun, now would you?"
Aphrodite, defeated, returned to the room and watched as Hera and Zeus marveled at their daughter. Hera thought to herself, "This is just the beginning. I can't wait to see how my daughter will grow up to be even more stunning than she already is."
The room was filled with laughter and joy, but Hera couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at having gotten the best of Aphrodite. She knew that her daughter was a rare gem, and she would make sure that she grew up to be just as strong, controlling, and direct as her mother.
