"Avery, wait. It's time we had 'the talk'," Jolie said, her voice steady and calm. Nathan finally snapped out of his shock and got up to put on some clothes. Jolie did the same, and soon they were both sitting on the edge of the bed, ready to have a serious conversation with their daughter.
