There, amidst a sea of faces, was a petite sophomore girl with curly black hair. Her name was Kadence Henry, and she had a way of looking at him that made his heart race. Their eyes met now, and she smiled playfully, her full lips quirking up at the corners before she looked away, leaving him longing for more.
The game continued, but Brody found it hard to focus. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Kadence, her smile, and the way she had looked at him. He couldn't help but feel drawn to her, like she was a magnet and he was made of iron.
During a break in the game, Brody noticed his phone was missing. He searched his pockets and the surrounding area, but it was nowhere to be found. He scanned the crowd, his eyes landing on Kadence once again. She was holding his phone, her fingers dancing across the screen as she took pictures.
Brody made his way through the crowd, trying to keep his cool as he approached her. "Give it back, thief," he said, trying to sound stern but failing as he couldn't help but smile.
Kadence giggled and handed over the phone. "I was just taking some pictures," she said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Brody looked at the pictures she had taken, and his face turned red as he realized they were of him. He stammers, trying to come up with a response. "I-I didn't know you were taking pictures," he said lamely.
Kadence noticed his discomfort and laughed. "You should be flattered, big guy," she said, patting him on the shoulder. "You're pretty easy on the eyes."
Brody couldn't help but be charmed by her confidence and playful demeanor. He found himself wanting to know more about her, to spend more time with her. "Do you want to grab some coffee sometime?" he asked, surprising even himself.
Kadence raised an eyebrow. "Coffee?" she asked, her tone challenging. "I was thinking something a little more...exciting."
Brody's heart raced as he realized what she was implying. He couldn't believe this was happening, but he didn't want it to stop. "Okay," he said, his voice low and serious. "Let's do something exciting."
Kadence got up and headed to the bathroom, leaving Brody to follow her, his heart pounding in his chest. He found her in the bathroom, fixing her hair in the mirror. "What are you doing?" she asked, surprised.
"I wanted to talk to you," Brody said, his voice low and serious.
Kadence raised an eyebrow. "About what?" she asked, her tone challenging.
Brody took a deep breath. "About this," he said, pulling her close and kissing her deeply.
Kadence responded, kissing him back just as passionately. She broke the kiss and looked at him, her eyes full of desire. "You better not be a disappointment," she said, before leading him to a stall.
Brody followed her, his heart racing as he realized what was happening. He couldn't believe this was really happening, but he didn't want it to stop. He was ready to take a risk, to do something exciting with Kadence. He was ready to see where this would lead.
