The bustling streets of Tokyo were no match for the weary wife, who had spent the entire day shopping for her family. She hurried through the crowds, her mind set on getting home to her husband and daughter. But as she approached her apartment, she could already tell that something was off.
Inside, she found her husband, Tokyo 32, lounging on the couch as if he hadn’t a care in the world. “You’re home late,” he said, barely glancing up from his phone.
She ignored his comment, rushing to the back of the apartment to check on their daughter. There she was, hunched over her homework, a look of concentration on her face.
“Daddy, can you help me with this math problem?” the young girl asked, holding up her notebook.
Tokyo 32’s eyes lit up at the opportunity. “Of course, sweetie,” he said, sidling up next to her. But as he leaned over her shoulder, he couldn’t resist making a lewd comment.
The daughter rolled her eyes. “Dad, you’re such a dirty old man.”
Ignoring her insult, Tokyo 32 continued to make suggestive remarks, causing his daughter to become increasingly uncomfortable. She tried to leave the room, but he stopped her, making it clear that he had no intention of letting her go.
The daughter, realizing the danger she was in, tried to reason with her father. “Dad, please,” she said. “I respect and love you. Don’t do this.”
But Tokyo 32 dismissed her words, instead focusing on his own desires. The daughter, desperate to escape, tried to physically fight him off, but he overpowered her.
Just as all hope seemed lost, the wife burst into the room, her face contorted in shock and anger. “What is going on here?” she demanded.
Tokyo 32 tried to play it off as a misunderstanding, but the wife was not fooled. In a rage, she attacked him, clawing and punching until he was forced to retreat.
The wife helped their daughter to her feet, comforting her and promising to keep her safe. The daughter, still shaken, asked why her father would do such a thing. The wife could only shake her head, unable to find an answer.
Together, they left the apartment, seeking safety and justice, while Tokyo 32 was left alone to face the consequences of his actions. The wife’s mind raced as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. How could the man she loved and trusted have betrayed her in such a way? She knew that she would never be able to forget this betrayal, but she was determined to move forward and protect her daughter at all costs.
As they walked away from the apartment, the wife turned to her daughter and said, “We will get through this, I promise.” And with that, they disappeared into the night, leaving Tokyo 32 to face the darkness he had created.
