**Chapter 1: The Unwanted Makeover**

Lila Bennett was no pushover. At thirty-five, she was a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense housewife who ran her suburban home with the precision of a drill sergeant. Her days were filled with PTA meetings, grocery runs, and wrangling her two kids into some semblance of order. She liked her life—plain, predictable, and hers. But that was before Victor, her husband’s sleazy business associate, slithered into her world with a proposition that made her skin crawl.

It started over a glass of overpriced merlot at a dinner party she hadn’t wanted to attend. Victor, a man with a smile too slick and eyes too hungry, leaned in close, his cologne choking the air. 'Lila, darling, you’ve got potential,' he drawled, his gaze raking over her like she was a project to be renovated. 'A little polish, and you’d be a goddamn masterpiece. Ever thought about... enhancing yourself?'

Lila’s eyes narrowed, her grip on the wine glass tightening. 'Enhancing? What, like turning myself into a walking Barbie for creeps like you to ogle? Hard pass, Victor. I’m not a toy.'

He chuckled, unfazed, swirling his drink with a predator’s patience. 'Oh, come now. It’s not about being a toy—it’s about power. Men fall at the feet of women who look untouchable. I could make it happen for you. Botox, fillers, the works. You’d be a goddess.'

'Fuck off,' she snapped, her voice low but venomous. 'I’m not some desperate bimbo looking to be molded into your wet dream. My face, my body—they’re mine. End of story.'

Victor’s smirk didn’t waver. 'We’ll see, Lila. Sometimes, what we resist is exactly what we need.'

Days later, the pressure began. Victor had somehow wormed his way into her husband’s ear, planting ideas about 'modernizing' Lila’s look to help close business deals. Her husband, spineless as ever, started dropping hints, leaving brochures for cosmetic surgeons on the kitchen counter. Lila shredded them with a fury that could’ve powered a small engine. 'I’m not a goddamn billboard for your shitty investments!' she roared at him one night, her voice echoing through their cookie-cutter home.

But Victor was relentless. He showed up uninvited one humid afternoon, a black leather bag in hand, his grin as oily as ever. 'Just a consultation, Lila. No harm in trying a little something. A taste of what you could be.' He pulled out a syringe, the needle glinting under the kitchen light. 'Botox. One shot, and those worry lines are history.'

'Are you out of your fucking mind?' she spat, stepping back, her heart pounding with a mix of rage and unease. 'I’m not letting you turn me into some plastic freak show. Get out of my house.'

Victor’s eyes darkened, but his voice stayed smooth, almost hypnotic. 'You’ve got fire, Lila. I like that. But imagine how much hotter you’d burn with lips that could stop traffic, tits that could command a room. I’m not asking for submission—I’m offering you dominance. Let me show you.'

Her breath hitched, not from desire but from the sheer audacity of this man. Yet, as he stepped closer, the air between them crackled with a dangerous tension. She hated him, hated the way his words slithered under her skin, but there was something in his gaze—raw, unapologetic hunger—that made her pulse race against her will. He reached out, his fingers brushing her jaw, and she slapped his hand away, her voice a growl. 'Touch me again, and I’ll shove that needle up your ass.'

He laughed, low and dark, his eyes locked on hers. 'Oh, Lila, I’d love to see you try. But let’s start small. One injection. If you hate it, I’m gone. If you don’t... well, we’ll have some fun.'

She wanted to scream, to throw him out, but the weight of his stare, the suffocating heat of the room, pinned her in place. Her mind screamed no, but her body—traitorous and tingling with a forbidden curiosity—wavered. As he raised the syringe, her lips parted to protest, but the words caught in her throat. The air grew thick, her skin prickling with sweat, and she knew whatever happened next would change everything.
