Double Dragon, Single Flame

Double Dragon, Single Flame

Chapter 1: The Lecture of Lust

The lecture hall at St. Xavier’s University buzzed with the restless energy of students, but Dr. Anjali Sharma commanded the room with an iron grip. Her sari clung to her curves like a second skin, the deep maroon fabric accentuating her fierce, dark eyes as she paced before the podium. A professor of cultural anthropology, her lectures were as sharp as her tongue, and today’s topic—power dynamics in underground societies—had the room hanging on her every word.

In the back row, hidden in the shadows of the tiered seating, sat Liang Wei, the infamous alpha of the Jade Serpent triad. His tailored black suit couldn’t hide the raw, predatory energy rolling off him. Two dicks, a genetic anomaly that made him a legend in the underworld, were the least of his weapons. His piercing gaze locked on Anjali, a smirk playing on his lips as he watched her wield her intellect like a blade. He’d come here for intel on a rival gang, but now? Now, he wanted her.

As the lecture ended, students filtered out, but Liang lingered, descending the steps with the grace of a panther. Anjali noticed him immediately, her eyes narrowing. 'Lost, are we? This isn’t the kind of place for... whatever you are,' she said, her voice dripping with disdain as she packed her notes.

Liang chuckled, low and dangerous. 'Oh, I’m exactly where I need to be, Professor. I’ve got a... unique interest in power dynamics.' His eyes raked over her, unapologetic. 'And you seem like the perfect person to teach me.'

Anjali’s lips curled into a smirk, unfazed. 'I don’t tutor thugs. If you’ve got a brain under that expensive suit, enroll. Otherwise, get out of my lecture hall.' She turned, giving him a view of her swaying hips as she moved to the desk.

He stepped closer, the air between them crackling. 'I don’t play by rules, darling. And I’ve got a feeling you don’t either, not really. I can smell the fire in you, Omega. You’re not just a teacher—you’re a fucking storm.'

Her head snapped up, eyes blazing. 'Call me darling again, and I’ll show you a storm that’ll blow your little triad empire to pieces. I’m not some damsel for you to sniff around.' But her pulse quickened, betraying her. His scent, dark and intoxicating, was doing things to her she refused to admit.

Liang leaned in, his breath hot against her ear. 'I don’t want a damsel. I want a queen who can handle a dragon... or two.' His voice dropped to a growl, hinting at his secret, and Anjali’s breath hitched despite herself.

She pushed him back, her hand firm on his chest, feeling the hard muscle beneath. 'You think you can shock me with your little... anomaly? I’ve studied cultures with stranger quirks than yours. Try harder.' But her voice was husky now, her body traitorously aware of the heat radiating from him.

His grin was feral. 'Oh, I’ll try harder, Professor. I’ll have you sweating, panting, begging to see just how much I can give.' He stepped closer, caging her against the desk. 'Bet that sharp tongue of yours could do wonders on a cock... or two.'

Anjali’s eyes flashed, but a wicked smile played on her lips. 'Keep dreaming, gangster. If I ever get near you, it’ll be to cut you down to size, not to stroke your ego—or anything else.' Yet, her body was betraying her, a flush creeping up her neck as she felt herself getting wet, the tension between them a live wire.

The room was empty now, the door half-open, and the air thick with unspoken promises. Liang’s hand brushed her hip, and she didn’t pull away. 'Let’s see how long you can resist, Anjali,' he purred, his voice a weapon of its own. 'Because I’m hard just thinking about that pussy of yours, dripping for me.'

Her breath caught, but she shoved him back, her own strength matching his. 'Get out before I make you regret stepping into my world,' she hissed, though her eyes betrayed her hunger. The battle of wills was just beginning, and as Liang backed off with a knowing smirk, both knew this was far from over. The lecture hall might be silent, but the storm between them was about to explode.
