Cady stirred awake in the middle of the night, her body trembling with a sudden wave of nausea. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and rushed to the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet before everything came up. She sat back on her heels, panting and trying to think of what could be causing her sudden sickness. Even the thought of her favorite foods made her stomach turn.
She stood up and rinsed her mouth, then went to the bedroom and rummaged through the dresser until she found a pregnancy test. She took a deep breath and stared at herself in the mirror as she waited for the results. When the test came back positive, she couldn't believe it. She was shocked, but also excited.
Cady woke up Hephaestus and showed him the test. He was overjoyed and hugged Cady tightly. "This is amazing, Cady. I can't believe it," he said, his eyes shining with happiness.

Zeus and Hera were happy but also a bit jealous. "Congratulations, Cady and Hephaestus. Twins, huh? That's quite a handful," Zeus said.
Hera added, "Yes, congratulations. I'm sure you'll be great parents. I'll have to give you some tips on how to handle two at once."
Demeter was excited and offered to help with anything Cady needed. "Cady, I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to meet the little ones. Let me know if you need any help with anything," she said.
Poseidon and Aphrodite were happy for them, but Ares was skeptical and Hermes was making jokes about diaper duty.
Persephone and Hades were the last ones to hear the news, they were happy but also a bit worried about the challenges of raising twins. "Cady, this is such exciting news. I'm sure you'll be great parents. But, just remember, twins can be a handful," Hades said.
Cady and Hephaestus are now officially expecting twins and the news has been shared with their family. The next step is to prepare for the arrival of their little ones and face the challenges that come with raising twins.
Cady looked at Hephaestus, her heart filled with love and excitement. "I can't wait to meet them," she said.
Hephaestus smiled and put his arm around Cady. "Neither can I," he said.
