The Master Bedroom
John couldn't believe his eyes as he opened the door to his wife's closet. There, amidst the delicate fabrics and soft colors, was his son Martin, trying on one of his mother's dresses.
John's initial shock quickly turned to anger. "Martin! What the hell are you doing?" he barked.
Martin jumped, startled. "I-I was just trying it on," he stammered, his face flushing.
John took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He had always known that Martin was different, but he had never expected this. After a moment, he spoke again, his voice softer. "Martin, if you want to wear dresses, you can't do it as a boy. You have to live as a girl."
Martin's eyes widened in shock. "What? But... I don't know how to be a girl!"
John was already making phone calls, hiring stylists, makeup artists, and dietitians. "You'll learn," he said firmly.
The Salon
Martin, now Maria, sat in front of the mirror as the stylists worked their magic. She felt uncomfortable and resistant, but the stylists were determined to make her look her best.
"You have such beautiful features, Maria," one of them said, smiling. "You just need to learn how to highlight them."
Maria tried on different outfits, and the stylists gave her tips on how to walk and talk like a lady. She was starting to get the hang of it, but she still felt like a fraud.
The Dinner Table
John and Maria sat down for dinner, and John laid down the rules. "Maria, you will attend school as a girl, and you are not allowed to tell anyone your true identity."
Maria was furious, but John was unyielding. "You brought this on yourself, Maria," he said, his voice firm.
Maria tried to argue, but John shut her down. She stormed off to her room, feeling more trapped than ever.
The School
Maria's first day at school as a girl was a disaster. She was teased and bullied by her classmates, and she struggled to keep up with the schoolwork.
Maria felt like she was losing herself, and she didn't know how much more she could take.
The Park
Maria took a break from school and went to the park. She met a group of girls who took her under their wing.
Maria started to feel more comfortable in her new identity, and she even started to enjoy it. She made a friend, who told her that she was beautiful and strong, and that she could do anything she set her mind to.
Maria started to believe it, and she decided that she would make the most of this situation, no matter how difficult it may be.
The Bedroom
Maria went back home and reflected on her day. She realized that she had the power to control her own destiny, and she decided to take charge of her new life.
She fell asleep, feeling determined and ready to face whatever comes her way.
