Eleanora and Robert: A Hotel Room, Uncovered

Chapter One: “Alone at Last”

Eleonora and Robert entered the hotel room, each carrying their luggage. Eleonora looked around the room, inspecting it with a critical eye. “I hope the bed is more comfortable than this decor,” she said, making a face.

Robert chuckled and set his luggage down. “I’m sure it will be just fine, my dear.”

Eleonora raised an eyebrow. “Oh, really? And who’s going to be doing all the ‘just fine-ing’?”

Robert grinned. “I thought we could take turns.”

Eleonora rolled her eyes. “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

She began to unpack her luggage, taking out her toiletries and clothes. Robert watched her for a moment before joining in. “You know, you don’t have to be so controlling all the time,” he said, only half-joking.

Eleonora snorted. “And you don’t have to be so lazy. Maybe if you helped out more, I wouldn’t have to be in charge all the time.”

Robert chuckled. “Fair enough. But just so you know, I have a few tricks up my sleeve.”

Eleonora raised an eyebrow. “Is that so? I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Robert grinned. “Just you wait and see, my dear.”

Eleonora finished unpacking and began to get ready for bed. Robert watched her, admiring her curves. Eleonora caught him looking and raised an eyebrow. “Like what you see?”

Robert grinned. “More than you could ever know.”

Eleonora rolled her eyes, but couldn’t help but smile. “You’re such a flirt.”

Robert chuckled. “And you love it.”

Eleonora didn’t respond, but her smile gave her away.

They both got into bed, each on their own side. Robert reached out and took Eleonora’s hand. Eleonora looked at him, surprised. Robert smiled. “I may not be in charge, but I can still be romantic.”

Eleonora couldn’t help but smile. “You’re such a sap.”

Robert chuckled. “And you love it.”

Eleonora didn’t respond, but her smile gave her away.

They both drifted off to sleep, holding hands.
