Eugene's Unwelcome Party

### Chapter One: Unwelcome Guests

Zhenia’s small apartment in the quiet suburban neighborhood was a cluttered mess of half-read books, empty soda cans, and mismatched furniture that screamed "broke college kid." At eighteen, he wasn’t exactly a master of domesticity, but tonight he was trying. He darted around the cramped space, shoving dirty laundry under the bed and wiping down the sticky coffee table with a damp rag. His palms were sweaty, his heart thumping a little too hard in his chest. A casual hangout with friends shouldn’t feel like a death sentence, but Zhenia couldn’t shake the nerves gnawing at him. These weren’t just any friends. They were *them*.

The doorbell buzzed, sharp and insistent, cutting through the hum of his anxious thoughts. Zhenia froze for a second, then forced his feet to move. He opened the door to find three familiar faces grinning at him, their smiles sharp enough to cut glass. Lena, Katya, and Masha stood there, a trio of chaos wrapped in tight jeans and leather jackets, their eyes glinting with mischief.

“Well, well, look who actually cleaned up for us,” Lena drawled, not waiting for an invitation as she pushed past Zhenia. Her boots clicked on the hardwood floor, her sharp gaze sweeping the room like a predator assessing its territory. “Or at least, tried to. What is this, Zhenia? A pigsty with ambitions?”

Zhenia scratched the back of his neck, a nervous laugh escaping him. “Uh, hey, Lena. It’s not that bad, is it?”

Katya followed, her dark hair spilling over her shoulder as she tilted her head, smirking. “Oh, sweetie, it’s adorable. You’re like a little puppy, all flustered and wagging your tail. Relax, we don’t bite… much.”

Masha, the quietest of the three but no less dangerous, slipped in last, her lips curling into a sly grin as she shut the door behind her with a deliberate click. “Speak for yourself, Katya. I’ve got a taste for shy boys who don’t know how to say no.”

Zhenia’s face burned as their laughter filled the tiny apartment, a chorus of teasing that made his skin prickle. “I, uh, I got some beers,” he mumbled, gesturing awkwardly to the six-pack on the counter. “If you guys want—”

“Aw, look at him, playing host,” Katya cooed, dropping onto the worn-out couch with a dramatic flop. “Come on, puppy, sit with us. Stop hovering like a scared little deer.”

The group settled in, the couch sagging under their weight as beer cans hissed open. Zhenia perched on the edge, clutching his own can like a lifeline. The air was light at first—crude jokes, casual chatter—but there was an undercurrent, a tension that made his stomach twist. He couldn’t place it, but he felt it, like static before a storm.

Lena, lounging with one arm draped over the back of the couch, suddenly leaned in close. Too close. Her perfume was sharp, intoxicating, and her hand landed on his knee with a grip that wasn’t playful. “Zhenia,” she purred, her voice dropping to a low, commanding tone. “Why so uptight? You look like you’re about to bolt. Don’t tell me you’re scared of a few girls having a little fun.”

Zhenia stammered, his throat dry. “I-I’m not uptight. Just… you know, not used to hosting or whatever.”

Katya and Masha exchanged a glance, their giggles sharp and knowing, like they were in on a joke he didn’t get. “Oh, come off it,” Katya said, rolling her eyes. “You’re practically shaking. What’s the matter, puppy? Afraid we’ll eat you up?”

Masha leaned forward, her elbows on her knees, her smile dripping with faux sweetness. “Let’s make this interesting, shall we? Break the ice. How about a game? Truth or dare, Zhenia. You in?”

Zhenia’s gut churned. He didn’t like where this was going, but before he could even think of an excuse, Lena cut him off, her smirk daring him to refuse. “Don’t be a buzzkill, puppy. Play with us. Or are you too chicken to have a little fun?”

“I… uh, sure, okay,” he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. The room felt smaller already, the walls closing in as the game started.

The first few rounds were tame enough—silly dares like chugging a beer or confessing a dumb crush from middle school. Zhenia started to relax, even laughed a little, though the knot in his chest never fully untied. Then Lena turned to him, her eyes glinting with something predatory, her voice low and edged with authority. “Alright, Zhenia. Truth or dare?”

He swallowed hard. “Uh… dare?”

Her lips curled into a wicked smile. “Good boy. I dare you to strip off that shirt. Let’s see what you’re hiding under there.”

The air in the room shifted, thickening with tension. Zhenia let out a nervous laugh, trying to deflect. “What? Come on, that’s… I mean, can’t I just do a shot or something instead?”

Katya snapped at him, her tone biting. “What, are you scared, little boy? Don’t tell me you’re backing out already. Pathetic.” She leaned back, crossing her arms, her stare unrelenting.

Masha, meanwhile, had shifted to lean casually against the doorway, her body blocking the only exit. “Don’t make us beg, Zhenia,” she said, her voice soft but laced with menace. “It’s just a shirt. Be a good sport.”

Their laughter hit him like a wave, mocking and pointed, as his hands trembled at the hem of his T-shirt. He didn’t want to, but the weight of their stares, the way they cornered him without even moving, made his choice for him. Slowly, he pulled the shirt over his head, his cheeks burning as their eyes raked over him.

“Aw, look at that,” Lena said, her tone dripping with cruel amusement. “Not bad, puppy. Now, let’s keep going. Pants next. Don’t stop now.”

Zhenia’s heart raced, his protests stumbling out in a weak mumble. “Wait, hold on, I don’t think—”

“Shh,” Katya interrupted, her voice sharp as a whip. “Don’t ruin the fun, Zhenia. You heard her. Keep going.”

Masha’s giggle was dark, almost sinister. “Yeah, sweetheart. You don’t want to disappoint us, do you? We’re just getting started.”

Their voices overlapped, a relentless barrage of taunts and commands, pinning him in place as the playful hangout spiraled into something far more dangerous. Zhenia’s hands hovered at his waistband, his mind racing for a way out, but the trio’s predatory grins told him there was no escape. Not tonight.
