Ex-Classmate's Revenge: Victoria Tames the Tech Titan

Chapter One: The Director’s Summon

Rodion, the illustrious director of a thriving IT company, found himself lost in thought as he gazed out of his office window. His mind wandered to days gone by, specifically his school days where he was often the target of Victoria’s playful teasing. With a jolt, he was brought back to reality by a knock on the door.

“Come in,” he called out, trying to conceal his surprise. The door slowly creaked open, and in walked Victoria, her expression cold and unyielding. Rodion couldn’t help but smirk at the sight of her, remembering her feisty nature all too well.

Without hesitation, Rodion got straight to the point, “I know we have a history, Victoria, but that doesn’t matter here. I’ve called you in because I’ve been impressed with your work.”

Victoria raised an eyebrow, her tone sharp, “Flattery won’t get you anywhere, Rodion. I’m here for business, not a trip down memory lane.”

Rodion chuckled, “Always so direct, I see nothing has changed.”

Victoria rolled her eyes, “And you’re still as arrogant as ever. I’m here to do a job, not reminisce about the past.”

Rodion’s smirk grew wider, “Oh, I know that. But I can’t help but think about how you used to tease me in school. It’s a shame you grew up to be so serious.”

Victoria’s eyes narrowed, “And it’s a shame you grew up to be such a pretentious director. But I guess we all have our crosses to bear.”

Rodion threw his head back and laughed, “You always did have a way with words, Victoria. I’m glad to have you on my team.”

Victoria’s expression softened, “I’m glad to be here, Rodion. But let’s keep things professional.”

Rodion nodded, “Of course. But I can’t help but hope that we can put our past behind us and become friends.”

Victoria rolled her eyes, “Friends, huh? I’ll think about it.”

Rodion grinned, “That’s all I can ask for. Now, let’s get down to business.”

Victoria nodded, “Yes, let’s.”

Their banter continued, but there was an underlying tension between them. Rodion couldn’t help but feel attracted to Victoria, despite their past. And Victoria, despite her cold exterior, couldn’t help but feel a spark of attraction towards Rodion. The question was, would they act on it or keep things strictly professional? Only time would tell.

As the meeting went on, Rodion found himself admiring Victoria’s sharp mind and quick wit. He couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride knowing that she was now a part of his team. Victoria, on the other hand, found herself struggling to keep her thoughts professional. She couldn’t deny the attraction she felt towards Rodion, but she knew she had to keep her distance.

As the meeting came to a close, Rodion couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing. He knew that he wanted more than just a professional relationship with Victoria, but he also knew that he had to tread carefully.

Victoria, too, felt a sense of longing. She couldn’t help but feel drawn to Rodion, but she also knew that she had to protect herself. She couldn’t let herself get too close, no matter how much she wanted to.

As they left the office, their eyes met for a brief moment. There was a spark of attraction, a flicker of desire. But they both knew that they had to keep things professional. For now.

The question remained, would they be able to resist the temptation, or would they give in to their desires? Only time would tell.
